  1. Yes, but so will almost 7 billion other people...and Emma will probably in someone else's bed...so basically you are in a bed with 7 billion other people but without Emma. Have fun!

But no everyone is in bed right now ;O Some people doesn't have bed, some people doesn't sleep on bed; there's still hope (?) xD

  2. How cool is that? British scientists have developed a system to generate electricity directly from urine. Each year, there are 6.4 billion liters of urine in the world, making this liquid into a potential alternative energy source.

Researchers were able to produce up to 2.9 milliamps per square meter, with only 25 milliliters of liquid. The urine can be also used as fuel for autonomous and ecological robots.

So, you better don't flush the toilet.

  3. Oh! That wallpaper is so bomastic. The position of the render, the colours, the lights and shadows, the fonts... Everything is pro. And you know, it doesn't matter if it's not different from what you've done before; I don't know if this happens to you (it happens to me): when I try to do something different from what I'm used, I don't save it because it doesn't look "good enough" to me. Anyway, you're the best ;D

  4. I was disabled to use the computer, so I've not made anything, even tho I wanted. I was making vertical banners of great musician I like, and putting them together in a collage or something like that. I only did 3, I'm gonna make the rest soon.

  5. Maybe humans can't fly, can't run faster than sound, can't melt something by seeing or can't explode something by thinking, but there are humans with some awesome abilities.

    - Tetrachromacy: condition of possessing four independent channels for conveying color information, or possessing four different types of cone cells in the eye. Organisms with tetrachromacy are called tetrachromats. Tetrachromats are able to perceive 100 million colors, average people can see 1 million.

Tetrachromacy is thought to be much more common in women than men: estimates range from 2 – 3% to 50% of women. Interestingly, colour-blindness in men (much more common than in women) may be inherited from women with tetrachromacy.

Something similar, but with tastes instead colours, is the supertaste. Supertasters experience taste with greater intensity than the rest of the population.

    - Echolocation: ability of humans to detect objects in their environment by sensing echoes from those objects. How cool is that?! This ability is used by some blind people for acoustic wayfinding, or navigating within their environment using auditory rather than visual cues.

    - Synesthesia: neurologically based condition in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.

In one common form of synesthesia, letters or numbers are perceived as inherently colored, while in ordinal linguistic personification, numbers, days of the week and months of the year evoke personalities.

Studies from 2005 and 2006, using a random population sample, suggested 1 in about 23 people have synesthesia.

    - Absolute pitch: ability of a person to identify or re-create a given musical note without the benefit of an external reference. People with absolute pitch are capable of identifying and reproducing a tone without needing a known reference. It is not simply a better ability to hear but the ability to mentally class sounds into remembered categories.

    - Eidetic memory: ability to recall images, sounds, or objects in memory with extreme precision and in abundant volume. Those with eidetic memory remember very specific details, such as where a person was standing, what the person was wearing, etc. They may recall an event with greater detail while those with a different memory remember daily routines rather than specific details that may have interrupted a routine.

Note: Superman had eidetic memory. Also, Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory.

  6. Well, I've been absent due to I'm kind of sick. I'm glad they allowed me to open this forum. So, I read an interesting article and I want to share it; by the way, the article is old but still.

As you know nerves transmit impulses through electricity, but this is apparently wrong; nerves transmit sound, according to a team of Danish scientists. They explain that electrical impulses must produce heat (physical laws of thermodynamics), but there's no such heat when they travel along the nerve. Therefore, in order to give a much more likely explanation Heimburg (an expert in biophysics) and Jackson (an expert in theoretical physics) theorize that nerves transmit impulses through sound propagation.

  7. Girl's Generation has a lot of chance to success in America, in my opinion. They have a lot of fans around the world, and a lot of people makes tributes in Latin America. Plus, their music is catchy.

Beside of what you mentioned, I think other groups like 2ne1, TVQX and CNBLUE would have success as well.

  8. Saying you "disagree" with it is just as bad as saying you hate them. What would happen if your child was gay? And this is just out of curiosity.

I think you have a problem of concepts.

Hate: Feel intense or passionate dislike for (someone).

If my child was gay? You mean if my child was born gay? If so, people aren't born gay. But in case I'm wrong, I'd love him/her anyway.

  9. I posted the suicide to show a HUMAN side to HOMOSEXUALITY. But, I guess that got lost. :\ Gays are people. Gays can be 12 year old boys who are lost and bullied. God doesn't want you to "disagree" or "hate" these children or people. It's a human being. God is LOVE.

    Nobody here is hating them.

If you need proof on this, I have articles. The problem is, most of what I have learned was in college courses and in text books.

I've read articles, I've watched documentary. I'm not talking without know about the topic.

Rationalize: Attempt to explain or justify (one's own or another's behavior or attitude) with logical, plausible reasons, even if these are not true. To apply logic or reason to something.

You did say animals don't feel love. o.O

Oh, yes, I did (and I still believe they don't feel love, and, animals having soul? C'mom). Then, sorry, I didn't write it properly. What I wanted to say is that I'm not showing hate.

Then that's your opinion. I can try to educate in a non threatening way. That's the most I can do. I can't change the world but I can perhaps change some people.

But change what kind of people? People who believe in the bible? If so, why to change them?

Anyway, I'm not in mood of keeping the debate. If you want to tell me something, pm me. And... go here and give us your sign ;D
