Lee Jun-hwan defeated Nugzari Taltarashvili of the United Arab Emirates by a half-takedown in the men's 81-kilogram final at the 2024 Asian Judo Championships at the Kitek Star Hall in Hong Kong on Nov. 21. Lee, who has already qualified for the Paris Olympics, has medaled in each of his last four international competitions. He won silver at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, gold at the Tokyo Grand Slam last December and silver at the Portuguese Grand Prix in January. With just three months to go before the Paris Olympics, Lee has set his sights on winning an Olympic medal as he tops the Asian Championships.
