Pretty much over now

Recommended Posts

I believe the trio has done all their TV interviews. The premieres went by in the blink of an eye. Everything happened so fast that the build up and the excitement didn't have time to germinate. I really expected a lot more traffic in here since this is the last one but it seems to pretty much just be the old faithfuls here.

It's all over but the crying now. :sob:

Haha this is pretty much the same as all the other grieving threads. But, It's not actually over. I mean the interviews and stuff. Guaranteed it's brought up in future interviews no matter the movie. So don't worry. You'll be fine. :)

I wouldn't say that, I would say more that the age of forums is dead. With things like Facebook which are more inclusive and offer more variety on what you can do, forums have started to die out. After the last two films I wasn't expecting a big boost this time around. There are thousands of fans for HP and there always will be, there are just different ways of expressing that now.

Other forums that I visit (not HP forums) are pretty lively.

Well these forums are a bit more specialized in subject. As this is not a Harry Potter forum but an Emma Watson forum. If you are not a fan of Emma Watson you most likely wouldn't go to a Emmma forum to discuss Harry Potter. (I know there are exceptions). The Harry Potter fandom is already falling since the last book came out a couple of years ago so it is not that big of a surprise that there are less fans now. (and book fans are not necessarily fans of the films and vice versa). Also new fans probably rather go to a facebook page then register on a forum.

And while I also still see very lively forums around the web there are now much more ways to express your fandom than a couple of years ago and less limited than a forum. Although I don't like it I think that a forum like this is becoming less and less popular. Although that won't stop me from coming here.

Dax is right. Forums will die out and if this forum dies out because Harry Potter was over then I think those members should have joined a Harry Potter forum not an Emma one. We are all Emma fans here!
