Ahaha, oh my that's funny! It's actually getting a bit cooler, I suppose because fall is approaching! At least you were not in Arizona this summer, girl. It was dread awful HOT. Not humid (what a relief) but the heat is unbearable. It made me miss Philly. :[

I most certainly will ask you to show me around! At least I'll know someone from there, haha. Judging from the photos, Boston looks beautiful. Philly is pretty cool too and if you ever stop by here I'll gladly show you around too. :]

Like any other city, it has its ups and downs! It's definitely a lively city, haha. Other cities are better, though. How is Boston? You know we're so close to each other it's crazy how we haven't visited each other's states! I'd love to go to your city, by the way. Judging from photos, it's very rich in history! Not to mention your state always ranks high...

Lucky you guys! =D Philly was pretty, it was very windy and we also had power outage. Most of the city has its power back on since last night, but I heard that over 500 still doesn't. But they should be back on track before the weekend. Phew.

So what was my hubby up to during my absence? Haha =D

*hugs back* It was a b**** having no power! D: And since I'm such a scaredy cat, I'm afraid of being alone in the dark so that's when I called my pops. My folks asked me to come over to be safer, but I can't leave my home alone especially when the roomies are gone. It wasn't just the storm, Phillys got a high crime/burglary rate.

Karen, como estas??? =D Philly just got most of its power back on after the hurricane. How did the storm affect Boston? Hope you guys are doing well. =]

Now, most of Philadelphia got its power back on last night. So yeah, these past few days without power sucked... =/

To answer your question, yes Irene did come to Philly. It was pretty bad during the weekend, but then the storm started calming down during the week. Most of the city was flooded with water and there was power outage in Philly and I heard in other cities/counties as well. Philadelphia news even claims that Irene was one of the top 5 worst storms its experienced. =/

Hey it's always great to hear from you too =D About the earthquake, yes I just saw on the news (5.9 magnitude that hit Virginia) and my dad actually called me about it while I was still in class, but no I didn't feel anything here in Philly. But I've heard Washington DC, New York and Boston felt it. Pretty scary stuff! D=

I'm in class right now waiting for my professor...he's tardy so everyone else is just chillin'...though one of my classmates keeps eyeing me and walking around my desk...probably snooping around trying to see what sites I'm surfing *rolls eyes*

How are you getting used to your new office? I know what you mean about needing an extra set of limbs, haha, I feel the same way about my weekday job. But a job is a job and it pays our bills. :/
