  1. You can't... just... make up her personality??? You said you are in PR (as I said, I work in marketing, so they're under the same umbrella), but a lot of what you suggested in this thread is a bit much to be honest. Doing well for your client means streamlining and making the experience easy and comfortable FOR THEM. Do I have really big ideas for things I think my clients should do? Of course. Are they always realistic? Of course not. People are busy and Emma is likely busier than many. The job of someone who helps manage media presence for other people (which is my job, and Jo's job and ap
  2. Excellent move because Facebook makes it interactive and delivers the content to a larger audience instantaneously but it's always a good idea to keep the content on your site as well as Facebook technically owns whatever you post and could therefore remove it if they saw fit. Also news on Facebook moves so fast that having a more permanent archive on the site makes sense, and again gives the illusion that all the forms of media are being constantly updated, even though the updates are the same. Not to mention in this day in age there's no such thing as entirely exclusive. Stuff shared with "Premium" members would automatically be posted around the Internet, which is a definite rip off for people who DO pay, and also, once again, shows that there is no product. My idea of using the data the site has already cultivated to release "exclusive" data is a lot easier to maintain, at the end of the day would
  5. Hey guys! Long time no talk (most of you probably don't remember me, I used to be loopygurl on the board wayyy back in the day). Anyway, particularly interested in this topic since websites are kind of my life (I grew up to be a web designer/developer), and Emma's definitely needs a pick me up. Not that there will likely be a redesign involved (I'm sure this site cost a small fortune, given the agency that created it), but I have to say that this site is gorgeous and much better than the old site. A mobile version would be nice (technically there is one, in that it strips out the Flash and
