  1. Riding a bike isn't a habit. That's a bad analogy. This isn't about effort. It's about habits. If you habitually studied hard when you were young, you aren't going to reverse that habit with any kind of ease. It's ingrained in your mind. You don't do it that way because you're being forced to. In your mind, it's just the only way you know how.
  2. http://phys.org/news7412.html This isn't faith. If certain habits existed in the past, then it is completely logical to assume they still exist today. It is not very logical to assume her habits fundamentally changed just because her priorities did.
  3. Ever heard the saying Old Habits Die Hard?
  4. Study habits don't change. Her priorities changed, but that doesn't mean her entire personality did. She isn't taking her classes this serious to maintain an image, it's a part of who she is as a person. That doesn't just change.
  5. Based on every description from everyone who has ever known her. If they all are consistently describing her like that, then I think it's safe to assume she isn't lazy in this case either. It doesn't seem like much of a logical leap.
  6. And what gives you reason to believe she is a lazy person? When has anyone ever called her anything other than dedicated and hard-working?
  7. That specific quote has everything to do with her education. Regardless of the context, that speaks volumes about her state of mind.
  8. This whole interview has no focus. They're just having a conversation that wanders from subject to subject. During the conversation, she offhandedly mentions her final and how much she was studying for it. This tells us something about her mindset, but clearly it wasn't her intention to make the article about that since she only mentioned it because of the show she was watching. Just because it wasn't an overt attempt to tell us that, it doesn't make it any less true.
  9. Yes, and I think her meaning came across quite clearly.
  10. If somebody I knew was taking a final exam that seriously, I would assume they also took college as a whole seriously as well.
  11. "My final is tomorrow, so I've been living like a hermit." It seems kind of important to her.
  12. What do you mean on a whim?
  13. She took time off at the beginning of 2011 for HP, went to oxford in the fall, and then took time off in 2012 for Bling Ring and Noah. She was away from Brown that entire time, and the question was specifically about Brown, not studying in general.
  14. This is probably the best interview she's ever done. I am probably one of four people my age who has never read any of the Harry Potter books or seen any of the movies,* but that seemed unimportant when I headed to Emma Watson’s apartment to interview her back in January. I’d just rewatched The Perks of Being a Wallflower and I’d been reading about some of her upcoming projects, so I had a squillion questions about the work she’s done since Potter ended and the work she’ll do in the future. If you haven’t seen it already, Perks (based on the book by Stephen Chbosky, who als

  16. Francis Ford Coppola is currently writing a screenplay about an Italian American family that spans the 1930's to the 1960's. It's being described as "a coming-of-age story that focuses on a boy and girl in their late teens". Courtney Bright and Nicole Daniels are going to be the casting directors, both of whom were also the casting directors for The Bling Ring. Fred Roos will be producing and was also involved in The Bling Ring as Executive Producer. This project is early in development and has not made any casting decisions yet. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/francis-ford-cop
  17. If you liked Rogen's past movies like Superbad and Pineapple Express, you'll probably like this too. I thought it was as funny/silly as 21 Jump Street. If you don't particularly care for or hated those movies, I'd say don't bother seeing it just for Emma. In total, she has like 5 minutes of screen time, and only a handful of lines. Her first scene is early on at Franco's party and is between Jay Baruchel, Craig Robinson, and Emma. They show that scene here: That scene is basically Jay telling them he hates LA and everyone who lives there. They call him a hipster and Craig asks

  19. Stealing Beauty: Behind The Scenes Makeup Secrets From The Bling Ring’s Roz Music How did you get involved with The Bling Ring? Sofia and I are old friends, I had heard she was doing this movie, and I hoped—and suspected—she would ask me to do the makeup. Especially since it was shot in my hometown [Los Angeles]. How much of the makeup look was inspired by the actual teenagers who the film is based on? Very little. There are a million kids out here in L.A. that look like the main characters. It’s a very particular style. I just took my camera out and Instagrammed for days, takin
