I think the only reason she kept her hair that long, like all the way down her back, was for Potter. I don't think she's going to grow it back out to that size, but keep it at a manageable shoulder length. The length never really hurt her looks, but I think it changed the way she could be photographed. When you have shorter hair, you're able to angle your face away from the camera at a higher degree that isn't otherwise possible. You aren't even making a new point. You're just saying what you always say whenever anybody makes a hyperbolic statement around here: You remind them of an anecdote that contradicts their praise. You clearly take offense whenever anybody tries to make Emma appear greater than she actually is, and are just attempting to deflate their happiness.

The first chance we'll get to hear her accent will be Friday night when MTV does their Q & A and airs a clip. Since she's been such a focus in the marketing and will be a big focus at the awards on Sunday, it would make sense that the clip they pick would showcase or at least tease a piece of her performance.

I just meant in terms of the cinematography. People like Refn have a way of making individual shots look as beautiful as a well framed photograph. These kinds of movies (specifically arthouse) just have a certain undefinable quality that sets them apart from everything else, and I just wish Emma could somehow be a part of it.

Her roles are becoming more demanding, it's just a slow process. I'd rather have her take small steps towards more complex roles, instead of jumping ahead into characters she's not ready for.
