  2. Well if the books are the reason you came to love reading that won't change. Film adaptations are never 100% accurate in relation to books, that'd be impossible given the length of most novels. I know what you mean though, overall I'm hoping the movie series ends just as well as the books did. At the end of the day does it really matter what any of us or anyone else says? We'll either end up liking it or not, that's human individuality for you.
  3. Also it has a 100% fresh rating on rotten tomato thus far although in total fairness that's only out of 14 reviews.
  4. I would hold off judgment till we've seen the movie. Reviewers minds are fully subjective and the subjectivity might or might not line up with your own opinions. Good/bad or happy/sad there's no point in lingering on what others say, we will know soon enough ourselves.

Accounts are only subject to deletion after 30 days if you haven't posted, which isn't the case with your older account. Even then it's usually pretty rare for those accounts to be deleted. You need to PM a moderator or admin about having one of the accounts closed as you're only allowed one account per person.
  6. Emma's speech at the end there was so lovely ^.^.
  7. Well if anyone's watching, Emma just showed up on the live feeds.
  8. The only problem with something like this is that we have a far smaller following then we use to. In terms of regular members we probably have a good 20-50? (don't come on as much so I've lost track). If you do this monthly you quickly run out of members for MOTM or you start repeating which becomes bothersome when someones won it 50 times. That's not to say I'm against bringing it back, but I am warning against what happened last time MOTM existed.
  9. I once had a woman walk in where I worked and scoff at me for suggesting Harry Potter as a good family/kids movie, her reasoning was that she doesn't teach her kids about the devil witchcraft. Incidentally she also didn't like any disney movies, especially ones with dinosaurs for a bunch of other odd religious reasons. At the end of the day that's their opinion. I'm not christian, I'm not overly religious anymore, so I won't claim a giant amount of knowledge on this subject. I'd like to think at the end of the day that HP is pure entertainment and nothing more. Watching it, enjoying it, does

    Pottermore?

Disappointed? Ha! At this point I really don't think J.K. Rowling could disappoint me, but that's my personal opinion. What exactly will be on the site I don't believe was specifically spelled out, with the exception of the Harry Potter series being available in ebook format. J.K. Rowling did say that, From that I gather it's going to be a place where Harry Potter fans can interact and share ideas. Hopefully a place where we can discuss Harry Potter for generations to come. Sure the books and the movies have come to an end, and the feeling that the HP era may be over is probably starti

    Pottermore?

Only 55 minutes to go !
  13. lol don't feel too bad for them, sure the costume and make up may take awhile to apply and take off but it's a pretty laid back job, I mean you get to be a freaking Orc and get paid for it!!!!! If that's not the pinnacle of awesomeness I don't know what is. I have, and indeed there are (however more goblins rather than Orcs, even though I believe the Orc King is featured in this one). Any who I'd suggest reading the book and the original LOTR books if you haven't already. The books contain far far more content then the movies ever will.
  14. A mixture of both. Take the Two Towers for instance, most of the up close shots were people in costume and make up, however the giant streaming mass of Orcs were all CGI. I remember watching the various extra videos on the extended edition and them complaining about how hard it was to dry out the costumes for the Two Towers due to the rain they added .
  15. I was thinking the same, it's a yellowish green I suppose. Emma looks stunning as always of course ^.^.
  16. No can do, it's past 9 T_T.

  18. If that happened god help us all... Having said that they really shouldn't have pissed off the guys from infinity ward, they were the backbone to the games and put in the hard time and dedication that made the COD series. Treyarch was never great at making the games, COD 3 was subpar and World at War was decent only because they ripped off a lot of things from Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare. I never tried Black Ops because I heard bad reviews on it and given that it was made by treyarch further discouraged me. I dunno, it'll be interesting to see where the COD series goes from here.
  19. In front of a tavern, flat on his face, a boozehound named barney is pleading his case...
  20. Say what you want the original call of duty was by far the best one. During it's time it was arguably the best WWII shooter and had a great online following. MW and MW2 are pretty good but I'd take the original along with it's multiplayer back in the day over MW/MW2 any day.
  21. Ok you are telling me to believe you on blind faith? You are calling me naive for wanting evidence is absolutely ridiculous, I thought you were in College Dina, you would be laughed out of the building if you ever said that to a professor. I want evidence so I can believe what you're saying. I can say apples are actually blue but you can't see them because the government steals their pigment through nanobots but that doesn't make it true. I would love evidence, want to know why? Blind faith has caused atrocities, ever heard of the Nazi's, Stalinists, the Jonestown incident, ect. I'm not goin
  22. Forgive me for saying this, but it's totally absurd to think everyone in the "medical corporation" industry as you call it care solely about money instead of their families. If that were the case why have families at all (if you say to keep up appearances I'll shoot myself). Where is your proof that they care solely about money in relation to their families? Can you provide anything besides mere conjecture, possibly a first hand source (and a reliable one), even potentially a secondary source? We don't live in heaven, but we don't live in hell either. I'm willing to bet that some would pas
  23. If that were so why do even medical corporations families die of cancer? You'd think if they had a cure they would surely save the lives of their family, job be damned.
