Jade
So, any chef's here? Anyone who cooks among us? NOT BAKE! I like to cook somtimes depending if I can be bothered. Or whether I want to push the boat out for lunch/dinner. I plan to cook for my fiance one day. Maybe after I finished Bakery and completed my cheffing course after which I want to do. Wouldn't want to risk making him ill.
Kim.
LOL. I'm actually looking to get a Culinary Diploma . Shocking, I know. Hopefully it all works out. I love to experiment with cooking as much as I possibly can. I do get mini-101's in the kitchen with my dad. We recently made a breaded panko-crumbed fillet of Tilapia, steamed mixed green and wax beans, and tabbouleh. I love searching for "comfort food" recipes and substituting the highest-fat content items partially, or by half, with healthy alternatives. I'd like to go healthier, because I know my family's genes are largely not a good set--diabetes, etc. I'm glad I came out relatively healthy, though -knocks on wood- -knock knock- Maybe I'll post some recipes? -shrug-
Comrade Chris
At scouts once a year we hold an event called Hell's Kitchen, we invite all of the parents of the scouts and some other people, we then have to cook each of them a 3-course meal, this year we cooked for 70 people, THE MOST EVER FOR US!!! The Midnight Q
I can consider myself a pretty decent cook. I suck at baking btw. I love spending some time in the kitchen coming up with a few tasty dishes. Most of the time I improvise but I sometimes go by someone else's recipe and put my own twist to them. I do tend to eyeball my cooking (not a fan of measuring things to the exact bit). I feel more comfortable putting something in a pan than nuking it. I don't regard it the same as cooking in a kitchen but I also love to spend some time around the grill. Edited March 15, 2011 by sirbenedictvs

The Midnight Q
Forgive the lighting, I took this photo last year. But here's a dish I usually make for the fam. Pan fried pork chops with baked potato, rice and sauteed veg.
