Wow, what a game between the Thunder and the Grizzlies last night. Epic.

  3. I thought Wall-E was very well made but the story didn't enthrall me. I know Cars was pretty much panned by everyone but it's one of my favorite Pixar movies. It's really about what movies speak to you. Like Hot Tub Time Machine got bad reviews but that movie speaks to me. I've seen it so many times. The character that the guy from The Office plays is me...more or less. You totally need to rent Tangled or stream it or watch it on demand or whatever.
  4. Uh oh. She found it cute sirb. Take it back. No cute stuff allowed on this thread. Only funny stuff.

If we end up with an Atlanta/Memphis Finals then the NBA is gonna take a big time ratings hit. I just don't see anyone being interested in that match-up.

  8. I thought we'd been discussing the pictures in this thread. We need a VIP forum.
  9. Tangled is really underrated. It really deserved more press than it got. Really good movie.

Looks like the champs are going down. "Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!"

  12. Wall-E was Pixar. Disney just distributed it.
  13. Haven't been for about the last 15 years. Tangled is the first bona fide hit they've had in a while that is an actual Disney film. Most of their success over the past several years has been in distributing films for other studios such as Pixar and Jerry Bruckheimer and the like. Hannah Montana and High School Musical 3 are the only other truly Disney movies in recent memory that might be defined as box office hits.
  14. Good points all. I'm feelin' ya. I usually look the other way when people on here get hot and bothered or opinionated about something but when someone goes running down my country, I take a stand.
  15. And this exonerates Germany how? As I recall he was the German head of state during the holocaust. Not true. Just looking through the posts, you were being antagonistic toward sirbenedictvs. Then Lena got in on it and you and sirbenedictvs and Lena went at it before I ever got involved.
  16. Are we doing this?! You may remember 9/11 but not being an American you will never get it. I watched the news and saw what happened in Japan a couple of months ago but I won't do those people the disservice of pretending that I know how they feel. You wanna talk slaughter? Aren't you from Germany? How bout your boy Hitler. You got no room to talk buddy. You've stepped in something you don't understand man. Now I suggest you just step off guy.
  17. Talk about crowded, O'Hare is crowded. Once pulled in there on a flight that was running late and my connecting flight was all the way in another terminal on the other side of the airport. Got to the gate and was told that the plane I was looking for had been rerouted to another gate. Wanna guess where it was? Two gates down from the gate that I'd arrived in. Somehow I made it though.

  19. I read the same thing. Although officially Team 6 doesn't exist.
  20. Maybe you don't mean it this way purple but calling us out as being unjustly paranoid over 9/11 or the Red Scare is coming across as a dig. I remember that September day. And although I watched it on TV and was not there, when the first tower fell my heart sank with it. To see those people jumping out of the windows from 80 stories up to certain death was horrific. You could only imagine (although you wouldn't want to) how awful it must have been inside the building in order for people to choose jumping to certain death as the better option. They had gotten to America. They had taken

Definitely didn't expect to see the Spurs bow out in the first round.
  22. I don't know if any of you have ever noticed but Microsoft's Outlook calendar goes up to something like July 3500. I wonder if that will freak some future society out. "Oh no! Those people back in the 20th century must have known something we don't! AHHhhhhh!"
