  1. I don't care if she gives anything back. Being a fan isn't about giving and receiving. Nobody expects you to spend money, vote for awards, or wait in line for her movies. That's usually something a fan does willingly. You know, because they like to.
  2. So "her people" promised something, and it didn't work out. So what? Do you feel wronged because some PR people didn't follow through on something? Do they owe it to us to be transparent in the goings-on of the site or Emma's life? Nobody else here feels like we deserve more of Emma's attention. The fact that we are getting any at all is a miracle.
  3. Before she joined twitter, she barely ever interacted with any fans at all. She joined twitter so she can interact with fans on her own terms. She tweets about the stuff going on in her life. That's how she WANTS to interact with her fans. She's been asked A LOT of questions about every single aspect of her life over the past decade. She's not interested in broadcasting stuff that she's not comfortable talking about. When fans ask you questions, you no longer have control of the conversation. That's why she uses twitter. So if she wants to address something, she chooses to respond. I
  4. My point is you can say that any person's life is stressless fun if you provide an example of someone who is "surviving". The degree to which this person is "surviving" is entirely subjective. The lifestyles of the people you say are "working hard for survival" would be viewed as a luxury by those who live in a third world country. Should they be grateful that they live in a developed country and describe their lives as "stressless fun" as well? Or perhaps they could just accept the fact that their are other people in this world that deal with problems that seem foreign to them, but tho
  5. You can make anybody's life seem easy if you just point out that a bunch of other people have got it worse. I mean, who is really "hard working"? A student, sitting during daytime at university and having a nightshift at McD later to earn a living for his time at university, or a single mother who raises a couple of kids, works 2 jobs, and goes to school at night? By the way, did you happen to hear about that new movie she just spent 3 weeks in Iceland shooting for that's about a biblical apocalypse that takes place thousands of years ago? I wonder how that compared to her time playing a
  6. I just saw it tonight. As far as rom-coms go, it was very well written. There's a lot of good physical comedy from the male lead since he can't talk very much, and there's pretty good chemistry between them both. It pokes fun at the zombie genre, although not quite as much as Zombieland did. I'd say it's more cheesy than meta. The zombies aren't really the focus of the story, more like just a part of the setting. There are a lot of references to Romeo and Juliet for some reason. It makes it seem like some sort of homage. People who expect a Zombieland-esque zombie movie will probably
  7. A few weeks ago, a newspaper called The Star in Malaysia published some photos from the Alexi Lbomirski shoot. I was able to get those shots in HQ by buying that day's digital edition from their website. These pics were then shared here, along with the rest of the internet. But before I shared these photos, I took it upon myself to edit them a little. Here are the versions that everyone reposted from me: Now here are the original versions without any manipulation. I zoomed in farther this time and made a bunch of higher quality composites. The cover photo turned ou
  8. These are portraits from the TIFF photocall. I removed the tags and livened them up a little. Bonus from Burberry Prorsum 2010
  9. This is from the Women in Hollywood shoot by Alexi Lubomirski. The filters on this are really strong, even more so than any of the other actresses he shot, so I wanted to see what it would look like without any filters. This is from the Bling Ring set in Venice Beach. I always thought that leather jacket made her look tough, but the short shorts kinda clash with that look. This is a still from the People Tree 2011 BTS. All the uploads of this video on youtube are kinda degraded, but was able to find a version on Vimeo that was much higher quality. This is a st
  10. I've been editing for about a year now. I'll be posting before and afters of the stuff I do. Some of it's good. I guess I'll start with my avatar. This is a still from the behind the scenes video for the Burberry shoot, which is why the quality on this one is so low. This was the first edit I remember doing. It was taken in Paris while she was filming the Lancome ad. Since all her clothes are black and white, this was a relatively simple effect to accomplish. These two are also from the Lancome ad. Since the whole ad has a French New Wave style going on, these
