  1. I am going to answer this in my Judaism thread since we are kind of taking over here and it really should be discussed in there
  2. Forget all the past stuff. But, look at the stuff you are writing! Is thiz how you talk to people in real life? I am shocked at how rude you are. I do not know if you are aware, but we are pretty tight nit group on here. We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming environment. I have been a member on here for a long time. I know I don't only speak for myself when I say that you really need to adjust your attitude. Honestly, this post is just rude and disrespectful. Posts like these are what shows me time and time again that these forums are just not what they used to be. We are all ent
  3. I heard about this months ago and have been super excited!! I grew up watching Boy Meets World. It has just been confirmed this week that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will be involved in the show!! They originally thought they would have to use different actors for Cory and Topanga
  4. You two have me laughing so hard!! THANK YOU!!! You guys are awesome!
  5. There are no words to describe how much win there is in this post.
  6. Even if this is just a random rumor, I love it!! I love the idea that Mathew and Emma had some sort of "thing". I love Mathew and I think that this is adorable. Of course I wont truly ever believe it, but it is a lovely idea! WTG Mathew!!
  7. No worries, its pretty confusing when you first learn about it. So I have been told lol. I grew up knowing this stuff so I don't actually know how confusing it is. I totally understand what you mean. I forget all the time that the Jewish stuff I do is not the norm. All of a sudden I will start talking to a non-Jewish friend about something and they are so confused. I forget because its all the norm to me haha. They don't really mean anything. It has to do with the story of Hanukkah but its really just a silly tradition. A lot of things in Judaism do have very specific significance. But, that's
  8. Being very unlike myself and procrastinating
  9. Had a huge thanksgiving dinner then my friends insane engagement party. Now I just want to sit and do nothing!
  10. Happy Thanksgiving to the whole forum!! It doesn't matter if you are American or not. We all have so much to be thankful for. I think its wonderful to have a special day set aside to be with family an reflect. So I challenge everyone in the forum to take 5 minutes and think about what you are thankful for!! I hope all is well for everyone! For those celebrating, have a wonderful holiday! I am thankful for all my friends and family. I am thankful for the really amazing opportunities that have presented themselves to me over the past few weeks. Of course, I am also thankful t
  11. Thank you I find your posts very interesting as well. I really love to get different perspectives on situations. I find that it just makes me a better rounded person. I am less judgmental and more open. Reading your posts lets me view things differently and I appreciate that. Very true. The cease-fire has in fact already failed, as I thought it would. 5 rockets have been fired into Gaza since the cease-fire has been made official. I just saw that on CNN. So obviously this is working out super well lol. Its very true, how do you really get people to stop? Yes I agree that it is importa
  12. If you look hard enough you can find support for anything. Of course there are people who may say that, but it is not a large group. will reiterate that I lived there so I kind of know first hand. I didn't say people moved to Israel just to prove a point that is not why they are making the move. I completely agree with you that would be a dumb idea and probably unsuccessful. Just as it would be if I moved to Alaska to prove a point.
  13. My point was only to respond to what you wrote about many people not supporting the government. I just waned to explain, that in fact, most Israeli's are supportive. Just a little education haha I don't want to address your posts too much because honestly I have really gotten burned on here before for my support of Israel. I just don't have it in me to get into all the details. I just want to comment on the last part of what you wrote. They obviously are taking the international community into account as they have just agreed to a cease-fire. Honestly, a cease-fire is not in Israel's best
  14. I would say this point may be true for people in gaza but not so much Israel. Most Israeli's are very supportive of the government. The truth is they have a good government. The system is a litte weird but its good. People dot just live in Israel because they were born there. They believe in the country. Furthermore there are thousands of people who continue to move there because they believe in the country. I just wanted to point that out. I have lived there and go back a lot so I am on the inside. Also there have been a lot of rallies in Israel about both sides of the issue. The government d
  15. A cease-fire agreement was just reached. Thank G-D. I just hope it lasts, because in the past it hasn't. Of course as they are announcing it on the news the reporter keeps turning around and pointing out the rockets Hamas just fired. Crazy.
  16. When I first saw this topic posted I immediately freaked. In the past I have has to deal with very harsh posts about Israel. I really appreciate your unbiased view. Thank you. I lived in Israel so of course I'm "on their side". But that doesn't mean I hate Palestinians and want them all to die. I feel terrible for the civilians in gaze who live everyday under this terrible terrorist group. There is nothing good that can really be said about Hamas. Operation Pillar of Defense has caused me so much anxiety. I have friends in the army. I have family and friends who lives in constant fear of
  17. I have to agree with you here!! You can never go wrong with black and red!
  18. Oh yes they really look miserable..... All these pics took 2 seconds to find on google. There were way more smiling then of her frustrated. If Emma wasn't happy then she would break up with. But, that doesn't matter because it really is no one's business but Emma's.
  19. Dina, you are so pretty!!! Love your shirt too!
  20. It is awesome! Thats pretty funny that you forgot that your friend is Jewish. There is a difference. She is not completely observant. I am, because I am orthodox. That is basically the difference. It is an awesome time and I look forward to Shabbat every week. Best part of my week! Yeah it is just a silly Hannukah tradition. I am sure there is some historical significance, I just don't know it. I believe so. I cant wait for Hanukah! For sure. Its really hard listening to an "outsider" teach your religion. Yeah I have no idea why he was upset over it. You should ask him and say because you a
  21. Please be safe, I am so worried about you!
  22. I understand completely that you are frustrated with people, but please do not take it out on me. We all get frustrated. I know not to think badly of you because we are friends and I care a lot about you. But, please in the future do not take frustration out on me (or other users with opposing opinions). The great thing about this forum is that we all have different opinions. I love that. But, there is a better way in which to tell someone you disagree. I happen to love Disney and I love Star Wars. I just do not think they will be a good match. I am not stating this opinion to "be cool". Of
