  1. Or maybe it's better if we don't see it together... I'd probably pass out after THE KISS so you'd have to call Paramedics and will miss the rest of the movie! lol Have a good night and try not to wander too much around St Mungo's while trying to catch the Snitch! (btw, I emailed u )
  2. Other than the occasional SQUEEE over R/Hr, I promise to keep quiet and leave all discussions until our post-movie coffee chat.
  3. LOL! That was just all win! What are you missing now? The Gryffindor sheets that Jon mentioned?
  4. Wouldn't it be great to have the technology to watch the movie all together? It's only a matter of time... i'm sure that will happen in a few years time. It just might not be possible for us at this stage. Our brilliant minds are too advanced for our time! lol
  5. You are always bringing out interesting topics, Jon. I think Neville is purposedly overlooked by JK Rowling (much like Voldemort does) throughout the series as she didn't really want to bring much attention to him until OotP... However, the fact that it was Neville the one to kill Nagini in the end, makes you really think if he wouldn't have been as skilled as Harry had he been the one to be marked as an equal by Voldemort. It was only in Voldemort's mind to feel more threatened by the half-blood than the pure-blood, as it looks like both boys would have lived up to the challenge regardless
  6. Not that there's anything wrong with St Mungo's, of course!
  7. The teachER has REprimanded hER childREn now...
  8. That was just REally gREat! ExtREmely wondERful and pERplexing!!!
  9. Do you think the kids will have to shoot too? Or just the main actors?
  10. LOL! No, I don't think you (or I) are senile... yet! Hahaha! You mentioned something about Hermione being sad and that Harry didn't try to cheer her up (or something along those lines) so I used irony to describe that actually Harry tried to be funny by dancing with Hermione. (I used the laughing icon but my joke may not have come across regardless ) Of course Ron would be worried for his wife if Hermione decided to become an Auror. But he, much like Harry, can block his mind while on a mission - while Hermione can't, especially when it comes to Ron (JKR).
  11. oh come on cbmac, Harry tried! He danced with Hermione! Book!Harry would have never tried something like that... he was missing his brother Ron too much himself. Anyway... You know, what I said about Hermione's inability to act when Ron's in peril is actually the own words of the most dedicated and number one R/Hr shipper out there: JK Rowling herself Shortly after DH was published she said that Hermione is too concerned about her most dear ones, especially Ron. That's why she could never be an Auror, because she can't block herself out of being worried about Ron ALL THE TIME. Also, H

As 'Viva la Vida' inspired my screenname, I'd have to agree.
  13. Oh Hope you get to see it in English soon, Laura! It's interesting that you didn't have both options though: the translated version and the English version with subtitles. Usually children who can't yet read see the translated version while most adults prefer the original language version with subtitles. At least, that's how it works in Spanish speaking countries. I love the trio voices, and I find it weird if I see the movie in Spanish. It's like watching a completely different movie! lol
  14. Oh yes, please, I'm begging!!! Molly Weasley's phrase HAS TO be included. She is the one who needs to kill Bellatrix, not anyone else. She was not only defending Ginny there, but also avenging Fred. A mother's rage is to be expected!!!
  15. but was it translated into French or just subtitled? Subtitles I can live with, but I'm annoyed when it is translated as I like to hear the movie in its original language, and the actual actors' voices. A lot of things get lost in translation otherwise, wich is not cool.
  16. Hahaha! I guess what I meant was that, having seen it in Paris, you have to expect the subtitles. R/Hr deleted scenes, yes. Even if I don't see Hermione playing dumb to get Ron's attention, I really wanna see the scene where they are collecting pebbles.
  17. I know what you mean. Being Spanish my native language, I'm used to having the captions at the bottom. Arghhh! That's one of the reasons why it's so good to see it on DVD as you can opt to take them out!
  18. Yep, I think I'll definitely pause and rewind Ron's speech after he comes back over and over.
  19. Don't worry Katharine. I don't think you are being melodramatic about it AL ALL (maybe because I'm being such too? lol) It was an extremely important moment for H/R - THE BEST one by far imo. And I think it's completely normal for us to feel sad about such wonderful conversation being ommited. Oh well, we'll always have that moment in the book, won't we?? We should have a good moment in DH part 2 too. I hope they keep Ron's line to Draco 'This is the second time we save your life tonight'. Not exactly H/R exclusively though, but quite close, as now Ron is confident about his abilities, has
  20. Oh Jonny boy! God bless your wit! I cannot agree with you any more than I do now. Showing that the last person Harry thinks of is Ginny, should (attempt to) convince all viewers that she's the one for him ( and not Hermione). It's really important we have this moment, so everyone accepts (if not understands) JK Rowling's story once and for all.
  21. I absolutely agree. Even if I want to remain hopeful about H/R in the 2nd part, that won't happen unless we get a non-canon moment which strengthens their friendship - Maybe something about Ron saving Harry (again) while in the room of requirement? I hardly doubt it though, as they will be running away continuously to have the time to sit down and have a chat. I feel so disheartened about missing out on such a wonderful H/R moment as SD was!
  22. You know, as much as they want to move on from HP, I think R/E will be (not so) secretly happy to reunite as husband and wife for one last time...
  23. Sabine, I only saw the movie once too. As sweet as the R/Hr moments were, I found too many faults in it in regards to the other relationships, so I think I'll wait for the DVD to see it again (as I did with HBP too). cbmac, I've never seen the movie on a cell phone. WB leaked the first 36 mins of the first movie a few days before it was released. It had a giant WB watermark logo that was covering all the screen. I only saw the entire movie once, in a theatre. Hermione wasn't thinking properly while Ron was away. That is canon to the book. I think JK Rowling stressed out quite clearly that
