Who was the first person you talked to on the forum?
Mr. Pumpkinhead replied to Lady Deadpool's topic in General Chat
I think today or near today is actually my 3 year anniversary of being an ew forum member. I was a bit late-coming to the forums as I'm a bit older than most here and didn't get into the HP series until I was well into my adulthood. First people I spoke with on the old forum were start.a.revolution (Alex), vida, cbmac (Kristin), Dumbledore's Woman (Katharine), Pat and Luciana. Still speak with Kristin and Katharine from time to time and hear from Luciana once in a blue moon and Alex once in two or three blue moons =P. *to all* First people on the new forum I spoke with were Carlyn, Kim -

(in response to all the pms I've recieved oh.. wait.. that would be none ) I am doing my best Rupert and Emma immitation and have chosen to ship incognito.

Connecticut School Shooting
Mr. Pumpkinhead replied to Bagel of Death's topic in Current Events and Topical discussion
It's going to take a collaborative effort from communities, the media, the entertainment industry, the politicians, the drug companies, the gun lobby, the anti-gun lobby to reduce and ultimately prevent these types of things. The major obstacle to that working is the fact that a lot of the organizations who play a roll in this make big money, and the tendency from all of them when a tragedy happens is to point their fingers somewhere else instead of pointing them at themselves. If we all focused on what WE could do better to help prevent random acts of violence and took action to change that -
Suggestions, Questions for Emma's Official site
Mr. Pumpkinhead replied to Jo.'s topic in Emma General Chat
Thank you Jo! And if Emma should ever get the chance and choose to answer one of them.. great! If not... well that's perfectly fine too. Thank you for thinking to add them to your sheet. Ling! Moon Roof? (not that I'm encouraging anything that would be un-safe -- I hope you're not texting and driving btw) ITA with what dook... no Maestro... no wait.. was it dook or Maestro? well.. yeah.. I agree with them. Well said gentlemen! -
Suggestions, Questions for Emma's Official site
Mr. Pumpkinhead replied to Jo.'s topic in Emma General Chat
Whatever a person's reasons for thinking that they are owed more in a correspondence with a celebrity, I hope we won't turn this into something where we single out or belittle anyone for their feelings/opinions. I simply think it's important to show some gratitude for an opportunity we (as a community) have over a lot of other people who would love to have some kind of connection to a celebrity. I think it's fair to appreciate that there are different levels of "fandom" and "devotion" that someone might feel towards Emma. Keeping that in mind, as many have said, we appreciate what you do Jo -

Suggestions, Questions for Emma's Official site
Mr. Pumpkinhead replied to Jo.'s topic in Emma General Chat
WOW... just WOW Let me say first... I don't read Emma's twitter and I have never signed up for Twitter and don't know if you need an account to read it or not. I have also never visited Emma's Official Site. I'm a casual fan at best. Therefore, I don't know what suggestions may or may not have been made or what questions Emma may or may not have answered from people in this post. With that said, ANYTHING she (Emma) or the management of her offical site might respond to via Jo here is a priviledge NOT a right. I think we should be grateful for someone who is willing to reach out to this -
Send a Spell at the Person Above You
Mr. Pumpkinhead replied to Mr. Pumpkinhead's topic in Game Zone
No not really, just showered. *ducks* so Aguamenti Charm hits Kimberley after I cast the Confringo Spell in a moment of anger after having boils put all over my face. *sorry Kimberley* @ Will: Rictusempra -
While it's something of a sad commentary...Living in the United States the whole Mantei Te'o scandal has been HUGE news here the past week. As such I would be hesitant to let a stranger take my photo, knowing that an unsuspecting person's photo was used to perpetrate a huge scam that turned into a nation wide scandal. Therefore I can understand reservations both in taking photos and in giving them. Which is not to say either that people could not easily obtain photos on line to perpetrate any kind of scam if that were their intent. Is there anything to stop classmates from taking photos

Send a Spell at the Person Above You
Mr. Pumpkinhead replied to Mr. Pumpkinhead's topic in Game Zone
Confringo! -
Okay, the idea is to simply send a spell at the person above... i.e. the Oppugno Jinx which Hermione sent at Ron after he kissed Lavender Brown. So let's get it started =) oh... and DON'T YOU DARE (person under me) send one of the Unforgivable Curses at me!

Say you're a young wizard or witch in need of some extra cash during the breaks at Hogwarts, and assuming the Wizarding World is not too strict with working papers for early teenagers, what shop from Diagon Alley would you MOST like to work in and why? It's a tough choice for me between two places. Flourish and Blott's: because I love to read and I think it would be fun to look through books at slow times. Also, perhaps it would be a fine place to meet a nerdy/pretty young witch! Maybe Hermione had a cousin we never read about? The other place is a bit more indulgent perhaps..

Thanks Ashley! Oh, and my mum and dad say thanks too, as they had a little to do with it. =P Fanks Dina! Ohhh... and I TRIED to smile in one of the pictures Dina! >.< It's just when I take pictures of myself I can't smile without becoming very self concious of everything. I smile in virtually all my pictures that others take with/of me. I just don't show those here. =P

Haha chris! That would require some skill or relative knowledge of computers and graphics. I'm lucky I know how to turn this thing on and type a few words as is. Maybe I'll ask BoMa to make me look like Prince Charming/ James Bond all wrapped into one. LOL That would take ALOT of photoshopping... but she could pull it off if anyone could. =) <3

^ great song. I really like Mumford and Sons even though they not one of my favorite bands at this point. It will be interesting to see if they drop the banjos and go electronic in their next album as I've heard they might do. Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade

How can I become friends with her?
Mr. Pumpkinhead replied to Emma's Slave's topic in Emma General Chat
The only problem with the whole cake idea is that you can't have your cake and eat it too. perhaps the saying were no more apropo then it is here? should Emma say, "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche", she was born in France, right? (I'm not as knowledgeable about Emma as most here as I joined because of being an HP fan. >.< Even though Emma is lovely I'm sure). Okies, I made every cake reference I could think of. Now I'm hungry. -
Everyone looks so good in their pictures! Of course most of you have the advantage of being young. I still use my grainy webcam to try and hide the age lines now that I'm 37. yeah, sometimes it works better than others. Here is me pre and post b-day look as I knew mum would want me to get a hair cut if she was going to cook me the b-day dinner I requested when I went to visit her.
