Arie, you have quite obviously not listened to a variation of dubstep songs. Its not all about the heavy drops and basslines, that's the well known part of it, but there are many other aspects to the genre. Plenty of dubstep artists prefer to make calmer tunes, like The Mindfucker. Oh, and never base your judgement of dubstep plainly on Skrillex. He does not make dubstep specifically, he himself even admitted that he has made songs of different genres, and continues to do so.
