    Coldplay

Coldplay is the best modern band that exists. Their melodies are rich and also varied. 'Fix You' and 'Gravity' are my favourite songs, among the most popular ones. However, I'm absolutely in love with this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1X-0L2Djno&feature=fvsr It also comes with a timeline of the band.
  2. I saw it once, girl! And you know what song was playing just before the movie started? (brace yourself) 'Hey Soul Sister'!!! (totally a sign! lol) My R/Hr shipper heart started racing right there, even before the movie began! lol And how come you are watching the movie in different theatres? Just stick to the same one, you'll get more chances for free passes then! lol
  3. Wow! This one was really hard to pick! I ended up voting for Rupert Grint's Ron and Alan Rickman's Snape because they deliver their lines EXACTLY as I would expect the book characters to do.
  4. A 'cbmac special'! She should definitely get free tickets at this point! LOL
  5. I guess Luciana is being REalistic about them. But having said that, it certainly looks like something's up with R/E. It cracked me up when I saw that story about Emma supporting Rupert, and a pic of her, when it was actually Rupert's name the one in the article's title. Idk, it looks to me as if someone KNEW something is happening, and are subtly trying to tell the world. LOL It's only a matter of time for me.
  6. Hahaha! And then we would have the X-rated version of HP! Seriously though, I truly wouldn't mind her writing more books about the wizarding world. Something about Voldemort rise to power would be a great read imo.
  7. Yes Jon, our captain is trying to break her own record of attendance with DH! I wouldn't be surprised if the staff at the cinema already recognise her. LOL But what you said, cbmac, it's true. I noticed the purple scarf part because I thought it looked very girly for someone like Scabior. LOL Didn't notice Hermione's tears when Ron leaves though. But her voice is obviously broken when calling for him. Poor girl! Jon, I wish we could all see the movie together. It would be so much more fun to do so! Pity that we are spread out all over the world...
  8. Jeez, Emma is not only a hardcore R/Hr shipper but also Rupert's #1 fan!!! Well, I guess you can expect that actually, being his fiancee and everything... Seriously. The girl cannot be any more outspoken about her devotion for 'The Grint'. I think we are going to be really happy shippers once these two are finished with HP.
  9. I agree, as I also thought the movie was going to put a bit more emphasis on H/R early on. Ron's the one Harry hugs first in Privet Drive, and he's also the one who stops Harry from leaving while at The Burrow. Everything seemed to point in the right direction and I truly thought we were going to have that Silver Doe conversation between them. Unfortunately, the lack of this moment has truly ruined the movie for me. This part was too important to leave it out. Even though we saw improvement in regards to R/Hr, the fact that H/R and H/G relationships are still so cold and underdeveloped left me
  10. Thank you so much for posting this link, Sabine! Unfortunately I cannot see it... it looks like it's not my lucky day for clicking on links... Having said that, I was lucky enough as cbmac already sent it to me (hats off to you, girl!!!) and I must say I almost faint of the cuteness that scene. R/Hr are going to rock in DH part 2! Just 7 months to go!!!
  11. Welcome to the forum, 'rupert&emmagrint'! Needless to say, I absolutely LOVE your screenname. Hope you have fun here, with us! Unfortunately I cannot see the vid. The message 'This video is no longer available as the YouTube account was closed by its user'. Such a pity I missed it! But this fact only makes me (even more) suspicious that something is up between R/E of course... hehe By the way, hellow 'Peter'!
  12. I shout INCEST!!! It's right there, can't you see it? I think Emma needed even stronger words to describe how she felt about kissing Dan so Rupert wouldn't feel bad about it, and therefore she went for the 'weird social experiment' line. I find it very intriguing, though. Even if she didn't enjoy having to kiss Dan, as I'm quite certain that was the case judging by her facial expressions when she said that line, her word choice was really strange... Little she knew, I guess, that Dan was going to describe her as an animal instead. I think she was hoping for a brother/sister response lik
  13. As we have a thread called 'Movies that Make you cry', I thought it would be nice to have another one with the movies that make you laugh, or smile. My favourite funny movies tend to be the ones with Ben Stiller. He cracks me up. The delivery of his lines is just so perfect... he can be saying the most ridiculous thing in the most serious manner, and that only makes his speech even more hilarious. 'Crazy About Mary' and 'Meet the Fockers' make me laugh no matter how many times I see them. As for the one that makes me smile all the time, the prize goes to 'When Harry Met Sally'.
  14. Yep, that's the one. It is indeed really sad, especially when Lucy, his very bright daughter (played by Dakota Fanning) is taken away from him. Your description of the character made me laugh. It reminded me of Robert Downey Jnr's description in 'Tropic Thunder'.
  15. You know, I think to a certain extent Emma was pushed to mention the H/Hr kiss. Remember last year? They were promoting HBP and yet R/E kept being asked about their kiss -which was still 2 years away at that time-. All thanks to Emma, who couldn't contain her excitement about kissing Rupert (or Hermione kissing Ron, sorry. LOL) So I think WB may have mentioned something to her (or both R/E) so the proper movie is promoted this time around. And maybe they were instructed not to mantion R/Hr kiss by themselves. But you can tell that when the interviewers brought up the R/Hr kiss by themselves,

  17. I'm not sure about Leo DiCapro... but I'm a real fan of one certain Leo DiCaprio! He's not only gorgeous looking, but very VERY talented as well. I discovered him 15 years ago in a movie called 'What's eating Gilbert Grape'. He played a handicapped teen along Johnny Depp. He seriously rocked there. Check it out if you haven't. It's a good investment.
  18. 'I am Sam' and 'Dead Poets' Society' make me cry. I consider myself quite a tough girl, but those two surely do.
  19. Evanna would pass as a natural redhead with the other two. She pulls off the ginger hair really well.
  20. I agree. Even when I'm not sure if I'd like another HP book, I'd definitely appreciate mosre books about the wizarding world in general. Ever since R.A.B. name popped out in HBP, I've been quite intrigued about his backstory. I'm sure there are many characters with so many plots yet to be explored, so I definitely see JK Rowling continuing the path she created - if she doesn't deliver the Encyclopaedia, though. As all characters' backstory could be explained right and there as well.
  21. I think what we are all missing are R/E's press conferences and interviews together. We didn't have those this time around but if we had, I'm sure we would have had the same level of chemistry and overall cuteness we had last year. Rupert was holding Emma so tight in those premiere pics... and unfortunately we don't have a vid of that little interview of Rupert, where Emma pops in and rests her chin on his shoulder. I hope we do at some point. It'll be GOLD!
  22. Laura, we absolutely need to break into WB and steal the R/Hr kissing scene and, if it doesn't live up to our expectations, we should DEMAND that R/E re-shoot it! I'm a bit concerned now, after the epic fail of some crucial moments that are so dear to me. I love your enthusiasm, cbmac. And I truly wish I could be as optimistic as you are. I enjoyed the movie - to a certain extent. I am trying to take it for its real value, though. Jon, I like your idea of the back-to-back movies. I think WB really needs to do that. Well, you did say 'great minds think alike', didn't you?
  23. you hate agreeing with me, Jon?
  24. Luciana, do you mean that during OotP was stronger than it is now? Or that their attraction became stronger during OotP on? Dan is such a shipper. He suspected something then, and last year as well, with his 'I think they enjoyed it a little bit too much' about the kiss.
