I love Christmas films, you have already mentioned some of the classics like 'Miracle on 34th Street' and 'It's A Wonderful Life' 'Prancer' is a great Christmas movie and perfect for all the family, it's one I highly reccomend. If you want something a little less serious then I really liked 'The Santa Clause' when I was younger and more recently 'Elf', while you can't go through Christmas without watching 'Home Alone'. However my favourite Christmas movie of all time has to be 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' - It has everything!

Exactly, at college you are equals and are there for the same reason, but Emma also wants to live as normal life as possible, the same life that most young people her age get. I respect that, and I think most people do too. As a fan, I would feel privileged enough just to get to see another side of Emma that we perhaps wouldn't see otherwise, but I would let her get on with it. The time for autographs is at premieres, events or visiting the set etc.

I don't think that anybody can deny that England, along with the US could put on some of the best World Cups. I'm always positive but lets just say that come that day I won't be putting a bet on Stoke, which incidentally, I did yesterday The majority of my friends are also Stoke fans so I don't really have that problem thankfully, but years ago when I was in college (it was in Manchester so I was the only Stoke fan) we played Liverpool in the cup and lost 8-0 (how times have changed!) and my tutor who was a Liverpool fan had a box of After Eight Mints waiting on my desk when I came in the next day.....

I can't be doing with Friends personally, but there are a few American sitcoms that I like such as The Big Bang Theory at the moment, and while there are a few things which I don't really get, I understand most of it and find it quite funny, I can relate to it though because the main characters are into a lot of things that I am.

We can't have a music section without a thread on one of, if not the most influential bands in history... The Beatles. I am a massive fan and while they are not my favourite band, I probably have more Beatles albums than from any other artist. When you look at almost any band today and over the past 40 years and see who their influences are, almost all of them list The Beatles, no matter what genre they are in. Anyone here fans of Coldplay? I think that they are awesome and definitely one of my favourite modern bands. I've been a massive fan since the first album and I think that 'Parachutes' and 'Rush Of Blood To The Head' is still their best work. I wasn't so keen on X&Y although 'Fix You' is a brilliant song. I loved both 'Viva la Vida' and 'Prospekts March'... 'Life In Technicolour II' and 'Strawberry Swing' are up there among my favourite Coldplay songs. Personally I was never much for The Office, I tried to get into it but I just didn't see the point of it at all, but then I don't like Ricky Gervais, I don't find him funny and he often comes across as boring and miserable, that's just not comedy for me and the less said about his stand up the better but he must be doing something right as The Office is one of the greatest comedies of all time. I don't think you will have a problem, especially at Old Trafford. The only teams we have really struggled against since promotion have been Man Utd and Chelsea, the rest have found us difficult to break down, but you never know in football... just look at West Brom's result so there is hope, but i'm not confident.
