  1. Is it okay if I still ship them as friends and as for the romantic ship just keep that on the back burner? Not sure if I'm allowed to remain on the ship for that or not. >.< I still want to ship them romantically, but only if it becomes clear that they are together at some point down the line. Otherwise I feel like I'm potentially doing a bit of a disservice to their personal choices by now. It's not like it's been a year or two. I'm moving on to 5 years of shipperdom and I can't justify pushing for them to be together publically. Which is not to infer in any way that anyone e
  2. Wow! I don't think I had heard of that. Hopefully it's cheaper state-side. >.< Maybe a Christmas request next year, unless the price is too unreasonable.
  3. Thank you Jade! I try to be positive and optomistic. Hopefully that comes across in my posts. I forgot to mention that I have an HP t-shirt (does clothes count as memorabilia?) and my wand currently too, even though I'm sadly lacking in the memorabilia department for the most part. I'm envious of your HP fan cave >.< .... for now anyway. *points wand* "Accio Harry Potter Goodies!"
  4. I've recently been giving a lot of thought to what I would want in my Harry Potter Fan Cave if money were no object and I could afford such a thing. I can get a bit carried away with my imagination on these things and probably spend entirely too much time in my dream world so yes, the room would definitely have the mirror of Erised in it. I don't think I'd be crazy enough to buy a castle and want an entirely HP themed castle, that's even a bit beyond my logic, but I am just crazy enough to defintely want an HP themed room inside a beautiful mansion some day. =D The entrance to my room wo
  5. There are a lot of foods that I don't like but can tolerate. The foods I'm listing are only the ones that are really tough for me to finish eating, so me really no likes... liver beets canned spinach (I love fresh spinach so I had to distinguish) cilantro (while it's an herb it ruins anything you put it on) octopus (squid is okay octopus tentacles are too thick) radish baby corn cottage cheese olives >.< yuck!
  6. Thanks Kristin. I can get cranky * which I like to refer to as my Harry in the Order of the Phoenix mood* over the JKR interview sometimes, but I decided to start reading the series again and I just finished The Sorcerer's Stone. I can't help but admire the humor and depth of love JKR put in the world she created. Sometimes I get my R/Hr tinted glasses on and lose sight of the HP world and all the amazing characters and places JK Rowling imagined and brought to life so vividly in her words. By reading the series again I'm just trying to get back to basics and enjoy the stories I fell in
  7. Happy belated b-day to Rupert. Do you all think that certain members of the HP cast remain close and still exchange birthday presents and Christmas presents and such? I know we've mentioned or postulated on in the past about presents that Emma made or got for Rupert or Rupert made or got for Emma. Oink Oink, Cluck, Cluck, Moo, Moo, *insert the sound a homing pigeon might make*
  8. http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/11/showbiz/robin-williams-dead/ Death is an often difficult reality we must all face and yet it's especially sad when someone takes their own life, as is suspected in Robin Williams passing today at 63 years old. I grew up watching some of Robin Williams earliest acting performances in the television series Mork and Mindy and was always impressed by his versatility as an actor. Dead Poets Society and Good Morning Vietnam remain two of my favorite movies of all time to this day and I also loved his performances in Awakenings and Hook. In spite of today's trag
  9. *does anything rhyme with that? Invigorator (this site says it's spelled wrong or not a word, but it's a noun) http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/invigorator ballet?
  10. I always think it's cool how Rupert and Emma auditioned for the parts of Ron and Hermione together. There had to be talent but they had to have chemistry right from the get go too. That chemistry obviously carried through their youth and into their young adulthood and is evidenced in a lot of those BTS moments.
  11. You are welcome. If you still havent been able to recover your password you could check this link for an abridged version. http://shelf-life.ew.com/2014/07/11/quidditch-world-cup-rita-skeeter/ There are some cute RHR moments in it... Enjoy reading.. Thank you again, and thanks for the additional link. An excellent blog post which I found in Mugglenet regarding the whole interview saga: http://blog.mugglenet.com/2014/02/a-detour-down-knockturn-alley-manipulating-j-k-rowlings-remarks-on-harry-hermione-and-ron/ It is pretty clear how the mainstream media did a Rita Skeeter by total
  12. I'm always jealous of talented artists. Dotwork looks so labour intensive, how long did it take to make the portrait? I think one of my biggest challenges with art has always been patience with my mistakes along with the ability to visualize the finished product before it's done. The drawing is amazing and you draw so fast too. I still contend I draw the meanest stick figure Emma out there though!
  13. Romeo and Juliet - Indigo Girls (cover of original by the Dire Straights)
  14. Welcome Breeanne, it's a bit slow here these days but still a fun place to visit. I hope you'll like it.
  15. thank you rhrshipper and cbmac12 I've been absentee on Pottermore for a while now. If I can remember or find my password and username I'll try to get back on there. >.<
  16. ? Sorry Kristin, I'm trying to place this in my memory and it's not coming to me. Are you talking about Rita Skeeter talking to Ginny in the Goblet of FIre? What was the ROMIONE moment? >.<
  17. Perhaps it's a weird place to suggest for a wedding but when Hermione needed to get herself and Harry away from Nagini at Godric's Hollow she apperates them to the Forest of Dean which she remembers from her childhood. The Forest is where Ron returns to her too, so it has multiple attachments to the people she loves. The trouble with it potentially is how it was used in the movie adaptation, where some would suggest she pondered staying there to grow old with Harry. I wish that there weren't the convoluted consideration of this relative to the movie adaptation and Jo Rowling's post Pott
  18. Especially on a younger level I think competing for third or fourth place is important. Most successful athletes didn't finish first all the time. Handling failure with dignity, class and developing the drive to learn and grow (and I certainly don't consider 3/4 a failure at a childs level of athletic competition) is just as important as winning the Championship... and in fact, not many can win a Championship without it. Look at Germany even in this World Cup. Widu was pointing out the number of close defeats and heartbreaking loses that they have faced in several international competitio
  19. I'm rooting for Germany AND Messi. Haha! If Argentina wins I'll be happier for Messi than anyone else. I think he deserves it. I've made a few friends on this site from Argentina and a few from Germany, so I'll be happy for either side if their team wins it all. I like the 3rd place match. Growing up in a Wrestling family 3rd place was a chance for validation. Sometimes you lost early in a tournament and it was a fluke or you made a mistake and got caught. Being allowed to wrestle back for 3rd place instills pride and brings a kind of redemption, even if it's not as good as 1st pla
  20. Happy very belated 4th of July to my American friends! Junkie, I love the pictures and graphics, thank you for posting them. The one with Emma licking her lips is hilarious. Trixie and Kristin, the ship has just been in "cruise" mode for a bit, slow and r/elaxed but sailing with a striaght and true course to the hearts of Grintson as always. Can you let me out of the brig Kristin? It's damp and chilly locked up alone down here.
  21. I kinda want to see Messi and Argentina in the finals, but I'm picking Germany v. Netherlands The injury to Neymar is a bit too much to overcome for Brazil I think. Even though they probably feel less pressure now. I think they'll start to feel the pressure again though if they go down to Germany by a goal early. If Brazil can keep it 0-0 or be up 1-0 by half time then I think that the energy they get from the home crowd will be enough to carry them to the final. I believe the Netherlands have a few too many scoring weapons for Argentina. Argentina needs MORE than Messi dependence n
  22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rPZMKm869E oh, and thanks Katharine! >.< sorry about the Brits. Sabine and I narrowly avoided a whole Jo Rowling/Emma Watson interview moment over the Germany v. United States match.
