12345
So today is the day of the premiere at TIFF, right? Can't wait for the reviews. I'm so excited (and kind of nervous) as if I were the one playing the lead role. The still and the poster look great. Love her hair in the last photo.

12345
^The world premiere was yesterday at the Toronto International Film Festival. Most people on Twitter say they loved the film. The review from The Hollywood Reporter (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/colonia-tiff-review-822873) is, to say the least, rather negative, though. 12345
Aaa!!! The trailer: http://video-ams2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hvideo-xat1/v/t42.1790-2/12013911_1128504533835102_1579956449_n.mp4?rl=300&vabr=143&oh=e4e47332e1599574070a72caed09348f&oe=55F6FCBF
Roberto
Not sure why they barely used any dialogue. Kind of messes with the pacing.
Elena
I cannot WAIT to see it^The world premiere was yesterday at the Toronto International Film Festival. cbmac12
I read reviews and then move on...just from seeing this trailer- blew me away the scenes-I can't wait for January- assuming this is for USA PLEASE! Emma looks astounding in this- her expressions kill me. You can see what she is feeling just based on these expressions and emotions.
12345
Not sure why they barely used any dialogue. Kind of messes with the pacing. Maybe because of "all the flat dialogue". More reviews: http://www.screendaily.com/reviews/colonia-review/5093094.article http://vanityfair.com/hollywood/2015/09/emma-watson-colonia?mbid=social_twitter "Film" magazine from Poland wrote "Colonia" was very good and rated it 8/10. It was on Twitter, though, so I'm waiting for a full review. As for the trailer - Emma looks awesome and so does Daniel. It might be a bit messy and there seem to be too much running, but I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy the film. I can't wait to see it. Roberto
"Overall, Bruhl and Watson, two very capable performers, never get the chance to imbue the picture with the sensitivity it needs, with Gallenberg overcompensating behind the camera, and failing them on the page." http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/tiff-review-emma-watson-tries-to-rescue-daniel-bruhl-in-thriller-colonia-20150915
Szalka
"According to a source, "Emma is determined to distance herself from Harry Potter and this is her big push to be taken seriously. She gives an amazing performance and is being tipped as an Oscar contender. She is dowdy in this movie - she's undergone a make-under." http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/236082/20150831/emma-watson-oscars-colonia-dignidad-boyfriend-matt-janney.htm
dookdookdook
Most of the critic reviews I've read so far have been rather negative. In general they like Emma and Bruhls performance, but they can't save Gallenberger's bad script and poor direction. I often don't agree with critics though, so if it ever comes out in the US I'll go see it.

cbmac12
As I said I don't like listening to reviews- I have seen plenty of movies over the years where reviews were positive and I hated the movies or vice versa. Reviews are nice and all, but I go by one review- mine

12345
"Film" magazine from Poland wrote "Colonia" was very good and rated it 8/10. It was on Twitter, though, so I'm waiting for a full review. http://film.com.pl/recenzje/10001972/TIFF-15-Colonia.html - a full review. Long story short, the reviewer really liked the film and praised actors, especially Emma, saying her performance was brilliant. As I said I don't like listening to reviews- I have seen plenty of movies over the years where reviews were positive and I hated the movies or vice versa. Reviews are nice and all, but I go by one review- mine I agree. There are plenty of films that got bad reviews, yet I liked them. However, if reviews are bad, I doubt a film is released in the US and it would be a shame if "Colonia" wasn't distributed in the US, wouldn't it? I hope we'll get more positive reviews from Zurich. cbmac12
Ugh with crap I have seen here in the US that's what makes me mad- all of international films like Colonia not possibly getting released here. WE WANT COLONIA!!!!!!!!!
cbmac12
Ok so what is the procedure to release movies here in the US that have been played overseas? Do they wait to release it in a year from now or a few months from now?
