  1. Widu has good reason to doubt. We have had a lot of instances on the forum of people faking situations like this. One time a lady faked being pregnant for a few months and said she had twins. It was discovered she lifted the photos from a website and she was exposed. Throughout the years the ew.net forums have seen many fraudulent cases. I'm not saying this is one of those instances, but there's nothing wrong with being a bit skeptical. As Widu said, it is the internet and people have, and probably will continue, to make false situations to garner attention. I will say Harbinger has been a
  2. While I love HP, and I do think it should get the Oscar nod since they've expanded it to like ten nominees, I don't think it stands a chance of winning it. Of course I haven't seen all that's out there this year, and I hear there's suppose to be some good stuff coming out in January, so we'll see. Great movie, but when other movies like inception fell by the wayside, I don't see this standing much of chance. Of course it might pull a LOTR and sweep the Oscars o_O.
  3. I'm just a bit curious, where are you getting all these updates from? If her father is indeed in contact with you, why hasn't he contacted administration (or has he?) which seems like the place to go with something this important.
  4. xylophone!!!! It's the instrument cool kids play!
  5. Yeah, Emma definitely won't post here haha ^.^. Ugh I feel bad, I'm so busy I can't even keep up with Emma rumors anymore T_T. Although I suppose to be fair I never really did . Oh well whether she has it or not, it's not really something that's bad. She's already a positive role model is so many ways, if it's true it just makes her more so, if not oh well. She's still quite amazing ^.^.
  6. ^ Medication is not always the best route. This seems incredibly random, I've never heard rumors of Emma being ADHD nor does she really exhibit any hints of it. Do you have any sources to back up your claim? I am ADHD, I was diagnosed at a young age and it's run in my family. I go to one the highest ranked and best universities in the world (I won't say which for privacy). I've always been a top tier student and I don't have any social problems. ADHD is a hindrance only if you allow it to be. If you persevere, work hard, and put in the time and effort you can succeed no matter what you su

  8. They are all real Kim. Ever heard of genetic engineering?
  9. I'm sorry but it shouldn't just be four years, it should be beyond that. Illiteracy still exists in the US (a very small percentage) but it still exists. Furthermore there are kids out there who are in high school and can't even read at that grade level. Reading is almost fundamental this day in age, and "I dun meanz thuz txt you'z see'z or dem tweeets," I mean actual English. Not to mention you need to understand English to develop your skills at writing. Grammatical and spelling errors are rife, best to nail it down while you're young. All these reasons however are besides the point. The m

    NaNoWriMo 2011

AN AMERICAN NATION!!!! (kudos to anyone who gets the reference) It doesn't have to be a full on novel, it could be a really bad draft, as long as you hit the word quota. I heard about this but given I have to write an essay every weekend on top of massive amounts of reading and that's all before the short stories I have to write for my other classes, and I think it's safe to say I don't have the time to try it this month. I encourage others to try it out if they have the time though. You probably won't create the next best selling novel, but if you get a decent draft that you can go back a

    OCD

I would say there's a reason your teacher is a math teacher. Not everyone has OCD, people can be pretty paranoid or obsessive about certain things, but that's not OCD. It kind of like how when some people lose their concentration they jump to the conclusion that they must be ADD/ADHD instead of being tired or distracted. I wouldn't classify anything you listed as being OCD. It seems more like learned behavior, comfort, and a bit of paranoia (no offense). OCD is more like driving to San Francisco from L.A. in the middle of the night because you have to see that sweet golden gate bridge, otherwi

  17. A far faaaaar better representation of sherlock holmes than that atrocious Robert Downey Jr. movie version. It's an interesting modern take and I look forward to the new episodes.
  18. Well it all depends on what you want to do in life. Most colleges these days have online classes so I'm guessing your topic is more geared towards primarily online colleges. If you want to be taken seriously for graduate school you are better off going with a credited style campus rather than online colleges. It shows more commitment and to be honest online college classes are far easier than actual classes. I've taken online courses, I've taken actual on campus courses, there's no comparison to them. That's not to say strictly online college degrees are bad or anything. But lets say you go
  19. The entire structure of this season is weird. I understand the ending in relation to the overall story arc but yeah I dunno, the dramatist in me liked it, the logical me was less loving . While I still enjoy Doctor Who immensely I can honestly say I strongly prefer Russel T Davies writing over Moffat's and I've probably said that a million times now. I liked the episode in general but thought it could have been better overall, like it had more potential. Overall I'm satisfied with this season thus far.
  20. Yarr be it that time already?
  21. Best not to drive at all if you can avoid it in San Fransisco although public transportations not much better haha.
  22. Not particularly, although to be fair I live in an actual apartment as opposed to a dorm so I have more freedom in what I can and can't make. I'd strongly suggest buying multi-vitamin and calcium pills though. While college food can be decent at times it's not great. Also realistically we are on the go, a lot, so what we do get isn't generally great either. This ensures you get what your body needs, and on top of that I find I generally eat a lot less when I take vitamins/calcium. It's inevitable for it to change really if you are use to home cooked meals and such. For the last couple of ye
