  1. My first suggestion would be to tell the doctor it's getting worse and can you move your appointment up. If that doesn't work, do you have access to an urgent care facility? Your eyesight is not something you want to risk. The eye is purple, or your eyelid? It could be a reaction to something. Stop using any makeup or other facial products, especially anything new, until you find out what's going on. Not sure what you mean by warm cotton. I would try a washcloth/facecloth/face flannel dampened with warm water and hold that gently on your eyelid.
  2. Well, I didn't literally mean camping, like with a tent At least I don't think they do. But they hang out for hours just waiting for some celebrity to come by. It's not like they have anything better to do.
  3. Hi Lindsay. I'm not sure I remember you, but welcome back.
  4. I believe the paparazzi basically camp out at the major airports, just waiting for celebrities. If there was a small regional airport Emma could fly out of instead of Heathrow, she'd probably be able to sneak in and out.
  5. She recently passed 3 million twitter followers as well.
  6. Photographer Sam Jones tweeted about a new photo of Emma on his site. Taken in Pittsburgh for Summit Entertainment. http://emma-watson.net/images/2012/06/SamJonesPittsburgh.jpg
  7. I believe the UK MTV site has many clips from the show now.
  8. I'm going to say no, not her.

If it was more than 18 months ago, that would have been on the old forum which is gone now. You'll have to register a new account. If you had an account here, it would still be active, but I don't find any accounts for any names like TrueBlue, or iloemw.
  10. I actually did go back and see it again yesterday. This time I sat a lot further from the screen than I usually do. That seemed to help, the shakyness wasn't as annoying. Or perhaps I just knew it was coming so it didn't bother me as much. She did say it softly. A shout would have been more dramatic, and would have fit the book better where she was instantly afraid someone had heard her. Maybe they just wanted to play up the romance part though.
  11. I don't think he is evil. Not in a Voldemort sort of way. He could be mean and cruel to the kids at times, but I think it's because he is so bitter about being a squib in a magical world, and the kids remind him of what he will never be.
  12. Posts deleted! While our rules concerning what pictures may be posted on the forums have relaxed, photos that show a such disrespect for Emma will not be tolerated.
  13. I'm sure Dax read both comments, and his only comment that could be seen as directed at you is that 'it's ok to have different opinions'. I agree with Dax the shaky-cam was overdone. If it had been used (moderately) for just the cornucopia scene, that could have been very effective in showing the frantic energy of the moment. When it's used so much for so many scenes though it's just annoying. To me, a well done movie is one where you can almost forget you're watching a movie. The characters come alive, and tell a story. Good cinematography should enhance that, not be a distraction. I liked
  14. Well, I saw the movie and I have to say I'm rather disappointed. I thought Jennifer Lawrence was good as Katniss, and most of the other acting was decent. It was also mostly faithful to the book, except for the end. But the camera work was terrible. Too much closeup. And any director that employs that much "shaky-cam" technigue in a movie should be banned for life, or better yet, in prison for stealing moviegoers money. I don't buy Ross' explanation that he wanted the audience to see the world through Katniss' eyes. I don't stand one foot away from people when I talk to them, and even running,
  15. You could email them and ask if you could still buy it. I imagine the collection isn't there anymore because it was for last years spring/summer season. Fashion moves on.
  16. The snake in the zoo was a boa constrictor. I don't think Nagini's species was ever mentioned, but it was a venomous snake. Boa constrictors do not have venom, so could not have been the same unless JKR made a mistake. More likely though the quote is made up nonsense.
  17. I remember you. Welcome back to the forums!
  18. The appeal was successful, and Perks has been granted a PG-13 rating without having to cut the film.
  19. Is that blonde with Rupert in the ad an actress, or just a friend. She looks familiar.
