I don't think the forums will ever be what they were back in 2006. It was a different time then. Forums were popular. Facebook had not yet exerted it's mind control on the masses. But I think as long as Emma keeps a public life in some way, it can keep going. Why a new forum? We explained that some on the old forum, and some people here have touched on things. More features are nice. But most important was more control. Not that we wanted "CONTROL", but we wanted the ability to do things to keep the forums going properly. Like we had a new banner contest for the forum, back in August I think

In an interview Emma mentioned that she had seen a trailer before she left the set. I haven't heard that it's been released yet.

Yeah, without the memories, I don't know that I would have done anything different. But with them, I would have gotten more involved earlier. I missed out on those first years.

Well, in 4 he is now Privateer Hector Barbossa. Maybe that's what she means by a different character. But other characters have changed too. Will Turner was a blacksmith, then he was a pirate, then he was Captain of the Dutchmen. But I would say it's all the same character.

I will be shutting down the site for a short time later today (December 19) for some updates. It should only take a few minutes if all goes well.

The January calendar competition for the main site has now started. The size of the calendar should be at least 1024x768. Higher resolutions are good. Widescreen is also allowed. Calendars must be in a common graphics format such as jpg, tiff, gif or png. It must have Emma-Watson.net and January and it should have the dates. It should be mostly original work, and images used should be respectful of Emma's privacy. The deadline to submit calendars is December 28. No more than 3 entries per person please.
