It won't happen but i would love to see Rupert and Emma do a photoshoot with PETA in their "I'd rather go naked" campaign (though i am not sure if the campaign is still running). For the most part you don't see anything in those photoshoots but i do think it would be very sexy (and very tasteful at the same time).

From hearing Emma's American accent i don't think she is quite ready to play a American. It could be different when on set but from what i have heard i could see her accent being quite distracting when she is in a movie.

That is one interesting looking dress. Emma seems to be going for the implied nudity look.

I disagree with the summary though as i don't think at any point did Hermione merely tolerate Ron. In fact the way she acted in Charms class on Halloween suggests that she did in fact want to be Ron's friend.

I don't mean to be crass but her breasts look ridiculous. I mean someone could put their eye out with those things.

Plus it was only a week ago where the main character's name was supposedly "Captain Awesome".

I don't actually like the lipstick. Emma is the type of girl who looks better with very little makeup (or at least makeup that isn't noticeable).

To me this doesn't make sense as it is well established that the main hero doesn't want the girl. They are acting like Harry and Ron were both after Hermione's love and Ron won out but the fact remains that Harry was never in the race because he wasn't interested in being in the race (plus Hermione has no romantic feelings for him at all either). The race was always going to result in Ron and Hermione getting together it was just a question of when they were going to get together, not if.

I think a good indication of the popularity of the pairings is on this very website. The Ron/Hermione thread has 705 posts while the Harry/Hermione has 101. That is a huge difference.

I found that comment to be a bit funny as i have never really thought that adults buying Harry Potter hats, scarves, wands, robes and such were that sane in the first place. I really do try and understand H/Hr perspectives but i just can't as there is just so much evidence to suggest that Harry and Hermione never had those kind of feelings for one another. It seems to me that H/Hr fans either dislike the idea that the lead guy doesn't get the lead girl or they believe that it is impossible for a male and a female to just be friends.

Is it just me or does the wand Harry is holding there look like a plank of wood? Anyway i agree with everyone who says that the Ron/Harry friendship has definitely been understated in the movies and replaced with more Harry/Hermione friendship moments. If you just watched the movies you would be certain that Harry and Hermione are much better friends (and closer) than Harry and Ron will ever be and as we all know this isn't the case.

Just making sure you knew it wasn't a Harry/Hermione moment but in fact a Ron/Hermione moment.

So Emma's perfect guy is someone who is chilled out and funny.

I personally like to think that is what Hermione will be wearing during the final battle Plus i have to say that in the books Ron is one lucky bastard (assuming Hermione looks like Emma Watson).

Except that is a Ron/Hermione photo as it appears to be the polyjuice scene in Deathly Hallows Part 1. In the movie Ron came back as himself but clearly the director decided to try a few different things. Still that is Ron Hermione is hugging, not Harry.

Except if Emma was involved in the project i am sure she was aware of the negotiations and how far they had progressed. The no projects in the pipeline comment was made only a few weeks ago and i think it is more than likely negotiations for the movie funding have been going on longer than that (they may have even been finalised weeks ago for all we know).

I personally don't think Emma's reps would flat out lie like that. They may occasionally be vague and not answer rumours but i can't see them lying about it as Emma has been rumoured to be involved in this movie for around 8 months now and if that were true then this movie would be in the pipeline (the exact opposite of what her reps said).

I was thinking the same thing. It is quite possible that the makers of "Perks" continue to allow people to think Emma is involved in the project because it gives them a lot of free publicity that they would not have gotten if Emma wasn't linked to the project. If it gives them more publicity they are not going to deny the rumors until they really have to.

I have every faith in Emma's and Rupert's ability to do justice to the Ron/Hermione kiss. In fact i am expecting it to be much better than the Ryan Gosling/Rachel McAdams kiss
