  1. https://www.facebook.com/Melodicamen/videos/263413831035997/ Ok, I don't think the link above works. I will try and find another one. Try this link https://youtu.be/A4Lc_XWDPcY
  2. Have you all seen this? I think it's pretty cute. https://youtu.be/HIc6gfhokbs
  3. Yes, the link is at the top. I realize it is an old article. CT posted an interview about a month ago with Andrew Peterson talking about his feelings for Harry Potter. But the ChristianityToday interview requires a paid subscription to view it. So after some googling around I found the Rabbitroom article that I linked above. And it's free!!
  4. I love Andrew Peterson's Music...and I love his Wingfeather series of books. He is on the list of people I would like to meet in person. But here's what's crazy. I can mark that off my bucket list...BECAUSE I ACTUALLY DID MEET HIM...I was serving as an intern at a larger church, and they needed volunteers to set up for one of his concerts. So I volunteered to help. And he was there...and I was helping him carry in some kind of heavy sound stuff...and I'm like..."Hi". And he's like "Hi". And I didn't know what to say...but my wife was really a fan of his music, too...and she wanted me

    I Hate

I hate waiting for packages to arrive!
  7. lol I'm just glad she's seen some of the Narnia movies! They really need to make the rest of Chronicles of Narnia books into movies! They've only done 3 of them . I'm just such a big C.S. Lewis fan. I don't think he would have been upset about the Aslan comment. His fictional creations were much better looking than himself. C.S. Lewis answered an admirer's fan male once like this, "I'm tall, fat, rather bald, red-faced, double-chinned, black-haired, have a deep voice, and wear glasses for reading". Although, from studying C.S. Lewis I know that he tried to answer ALL of his fan mail
  8. I have not seen it! Do you enjoy washing your car?
  9. The soundtrack is available on amazon. Here is the link. https://www.amazon.com/Noah-Motion-Picture-Clint-Mansell/dp/B00IPGGEVU?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C5213225765 I believe the song is "Mercy Is" track 23 I think. Two cool things about the noah movie that made me happy. I made an ascii art picture of the picture on the front graphic novel and I posted it on Twitter and Darren Aronofsky retweeted me!! I also won one of the contesta from Regency films and they sent me a movie poster.
  10. In the United states, the current most popular baby name for a girl is Emma, and the most popular name for a boy is Noah. I seem to remember a Noah movie with an Emma in it. Haha! Here is the link: http://nameberry.com/popular_names
  11. I agree with equality. However, the first book Emma recommends is by Gloria Steinem. Another feminist (Camile Paglia), called Ms. Steinem's brand of feminism a "Blame men first mentality." That's not the same thing as equality (although I don't like Ms. Paglia, either, so maybe that can be taken with a grain of salt). But my problem is that I've seen Ms. Steinem interviewed live, she was asked what I feel was a fair question, that being, "Can you be a feminist and be pro-life?" She gave what I thought was a smart-aleck answer, basically saying, "You can be pro-life for your body, but not
  12. They actually make a Harry Potter themed adult coloring book now! http://www.amazon.com/Harry-Potter-Coloring-Book-Scholastic/dp/1338029991/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451325002&sr=8-1&keywords=Harry+Potter+adult+coloring+book
  13. Has anyone read "The Shack"? I have not read it, but about 5 or so years ago it seemed to be a big deal. I think I still have a copy someone gave me...I really need to go through my book pile!
  14. Silent Night - Pentatonix (Love their new Christmas CD)
  15. I'm thankful for friends & family! I'm thankful for an upcoming vacation! I'm thankful that I'm getting over my cold.
  16. I hope you enjoy coloring! It is stress relieving! Most books stores like Barnes & Noble have a lot of different adult coloring books now. (I was scared to google ADULT COLORING BOOK...who knows what would come up!!)
  17. Here's a fun quiz that tests your knowledge of different religions. It's only 15 questions long, so it just takes a couple of minutes. Here's the link: http://www.pewforum.org/quiz/u-s-religious-knowledge/ (I got 14 out of 15).
  18. These are really fun to scan in and "color" using MS Paint. Just use the fill tool for the different colors. Here's one I did just having fun, (This one is from a book called "Creative Coloring for Grown-ups - Glorious Gardens". By Metro Books.)
  19. I think this is really interesting. I actually enjoy coloring with the kids in Sunday School. The link is below, http://shareably.net/coloring-best-alternative-to-meditation/?utm_source=spots&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=spots
