  1. From facebook: Emma is now doing something similar to People Tree called "Green Carpet" clothing. http://www.teenvogue.com/story/emma-watson-sustainable-style-green-carpet-challenge?mbid=social_twitter
  2. Also, I love Inkheart. There is an Inkheart movie as well. It's pretty good.
  3. I think most people on here would enjoy reading Andrew Peterson's Wingfeather Saga. It's a series of 4 books. It's Fantasy Young Adult fiction. If you combined the Chronicles of Narnia book series with Harry Potter book series...I think you'd end up with something like the Wingfeather Saga. I've finished the first 3 books and I'm in the middle of book 4. The book order goes like this: Book One: On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness Book Two: North, or be Eaten! Book Three: The Monster in the Hollows Book Four: The Warden & the Wolf King Really fun reading if you like Young Adult
  4. Once she mentioned some kind of meditation app that she recommended in a tweet.
  5. "North, or be Eaten!" By Andrew Peterson.
  6. Eight Twenty Eight is christianaudio's free book of the month for the month of July. If you want a free audio copy, you can download it this month for free at www.christianaudio.com. They only thing the website will ask you for is an email.
  7. Trying to sort things out in my mind!
  8. I thought this would be a fun topic to start! Post you're favorite Lyrics of a song. DON'T POST THE ENTIRE SONG, just you're favorite part of it...your favorite line or verse or chorus. Then cite the song title, singer, album, and publishing company. I think that as long as it is done this way, and no one quotes more than about half of a total song...then it's legal to do. It's just like quoting a passage from a book. If I'm wrong, then one of the moderators can feel free to delete this. I don't want to start anything illegal I'll start. “You know the more I think about you
  9. I have all of the HP audiobooks. I purchased all of them except for the last one on ebay as books on cassette. It only cost about $20 total. But the Deathly Hallows I bought as new audiobook on CD...and I think it cost me as much as the rest combined!! I'm in the process of trying to convert them all to MP3s so I don't have to keep up with so much stuff. Regarding the room, me and Julie put together a 1,000 piece HP puzzle picture of Hedwig...then we used modgepodge (Poster glue) on it, and we had it framed. I would love to have all of the HP puzzles and put them together in matching fr
  10. Beauty and the Beast I’m sure most of us are excited about Emma’s performance in the upcoming Disney musical of Beauty and the Beast! So, what can we learn from this story? Of course it's a love story. So we can learn about love. But there's more going on than just the simple "Don't judge a book by its cover" message. It’s interesting. Now in English, we use the word “love†in many different ways. We can make statements like, “I love the movies!†“I love potato chips!†“I love the Pittsburgh Steelers!†“I love my dad!†All of these can mean different things,
  11. I just bought the animated version from Disney to hold me over until then! Also, If "Beauty and the Beast" were performed by cats, Gaston would probably be a Siameze. According to a quick google search I did, the Siameze breed of cat has an especially large esophagus, which makes it produce more saliva...which would mean it would be "especially good at expectorating"!
  12. A long time ago, she recommended watching "Chicken Run" (the claymation movie) with the spanish audio and, "laugh until you cry". I watched the movie in English and didn't really like it so I've never rented it again...it may be much funnier in Spanish.
  13. I thought the same thing about Pacific Rim. The effects were amazing...but the plot...the monsters mostly came out one at a time and the people knew when it would happen. The How it Should Have Ended people on youtube did a funny parody on Pacific Rim. (I posted their parody of Harry Potter in another link). The one for Pacific Rim can be found here:
  14. Ashley, She recommended UNJUNKED candies, supporting LANDFILL HARMONIC, PACIFIC RIM, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, and some other things on twitter. Those are just from the top of my head. These aren't recent. Most of her recent tweets are about heforshe.
  15. I keep playing the Stockfish 4 chess app. It keeps beating me.
  16. I dreamt that me and my wife were living in this apartment complex and that I was throwing an (american) football around outside with some of the neighbors parents and their kids. This huge black guy threw the ball towards me like a bullet and I missed it and it broke the back window of this red convertible car that happened to be mine in the dream (In real life I do not own a red convertible car, nor do I wish to). Anyway, I went over and looked at it, and I said to the guy that threw it, "You know, since it's a convertible, this is really just clear plastic...I think we can fix this oursel
  17. OK. Time for the last one! At this point, we have looked at Amillennialism, Postmillennialism, and Historical Premillennialism. This last post is about Dispensational Premillennialism. Dispensational Premillennialism is the most different from all of these three other views of the endtimes. Unlike all of the others, most Dispensational Premillennialists believe that Christ will come back for his church BEFORE the time of tribulation. (Some dispensational premillennialists believe that the church will go through some tribulation and then be taken back). Also, unlike all of the other th
  18. Historical Premillennialism And now we come to Historical Premillennialism. To understand HP (see what I did there!) …let’s think about some movies…in the following movies, who was the main character and what did they have to go through to triumph in the end? *Lion King. Simba was the main character, right? He had to overcome who? His uncle Scar and the heinnas…Simba had to do this before he could take his throne. *It’s a Wonderful life. George Bailey was the main character, right? He had to overcome who and what? He had to overcome his assistant losing $5,000 dollars and
  19. 3. Must be good at expectorating (Gaston) I can spit with the best of them!! If fact, I'm "especially good at expectorating", haha! Sadly, I don't think I meet any of the other requirements.
  20. OK. That makes sense. I should have noticed the "likes" in the picture. Thanks!
  21. Does anyone else see the above tweet from emma, or is there something wrong with my twitter app?
