Ok, I'll qualify that. You don't diss the media that is supportive, or at least treats you fairly. I don't care for Horowitz personally, but he has been supportive of Emma, her career, and the movies she is in. I only count paparazzi and tabloids as media in the broadest sense of the term. They deserve all the snubs and bites they get.

No, she isn't. She said she is not the lead. She doesn't control the media. To ignore or snub them would only hurt the movie. It won't help the careers of the others. And you think Horowitz would appreciate that? Unfortunately actors depend on the media. You don't bite the hands that feed you.

You're assuming that Emma is the one who chooses where to sit. I'm sure it was Horowitz who put Emma first chair. Emma didn't run the Q&A, Horowitz is the one asking the questions. She tries to deflect attention to other stars, now, and in the past. It's not her fault the media focuses on her. Actually I think all the cast did a good job at the Q&A, some better than others. None were ignored. Should Emma say "No, if you're going to focus attention on me, I won't come."? That would only hurt the movie, and her reputation.

How did we go from Doctor Who to medical doctors? I certainly don't want her to keep picking the same roles, but I also don't know I'd want her to pick Doctor Who if the opportunity ever arose. Then she would be stuck in the same role again for a while. That was a problem with her playing Hermione in HP. With the length of filming, she never really had the opportunity to do other projects, and it would have been interesting to see her do other things in her younger years. Maybe she could be a Doctor Who villain.

I was watching some of the live stream. It seems like in most of the audience shots the people looked bored out of their minds. They had all these people screaming in the audio, but I never really saw any audience members acting excited.

Since that seems to resolve the question, I'll go ahead and close this.

If we removed every topic or post we don't agree with, then we would be criticized for being too controlling, not allowing any opinions but our own, etc. We already get that from some people. If people would not reply to such topics they will disappear down the page. There is a common saying on the internet that unfortunately almost no one follows, "Don't feed the trolls".

We've only seen a few of the models in the trailer, and over half weren't nude in those shots, so we certainly don't know Emma is the only one who wasn't really nude. Let's stay on topic. Emma is not Hermione. She probably brought a lot of herself into the role, but Hermione is different than what you see of Emma in interviews, and I'm sure that's different from how she is with friends, and that is different to how she is with family. Everyone plays different "characters" even in real life depending on the situation. If I ever met her I'm sure I wouldn't confuse her with Hermione. Perhaps I would agree that Ballet Shoes gave her the opportunity to play a character further from herself.

Yes, the edit button goes away after a few minutes. It's mostly for making a quick correction. Both Gomez and Lovato were actresses before they were singers, actually both starting when they were 7 years old, but I would guess their twitter popularity is mostly from their singing careers.

Maybe if you look at people who are primarily an actress. There are quite a few women ahead of her who are singer/actress like Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato. Most of the top female twitter accounts are singers or singer/actress.
