  1. I play rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboards, drums, xylophone, harmonica, trombone, sing, and also write and record my own material.
  2. To be honest, I hope it's more geared towards adults than kids. I can't stomach cartoons much anymore.
  3. It's not offensive. Everyone views things as perverted, even when they're not.
  4. High school or college? My high school (this was more than 10 years ago!) taught German, French, and Spanish. Now, you can pretty much learn any language in college. I think there's a whole division of programs dedicated to language, including English (for those foreign who don't speak it.)
  5. I was raised on prog rock. I got into it through Genesis (mom was a fan), got into the proggier aspects of The Beatles as a teen, discovered Yes and Rush and Pink Floyd all around age 14... Now I have a huge collection of all different genres. My favorite band currently is Pink Floyd, but like I said, Porcupine Tree is like a modern Pink Floyd. Their sound is similar, all trippy and ambient like. I'm glad there are artists around like Porcupine Tree. I like Beyonce, and Christina Aguilera, and all the modern pop artists, but it's cool that there are still artists out there making intellige
  6. How can you be in love with someone you've never met? Lust, yes. But love?
  7. I think people care, because she was genuinely talented. But then, so are a bunch of other artists, signed and unsigned. So am I. So is my best friend Matt, who records albums out of his apartment (and me out of my home!) I don't believe that her death is more important than the tragedy we just recently had. But it IS important, because Amy Winehouse's death was a tragedy...she was an extraordinarily talented superstar who also was a trainwreck, and just ended up crashing.
  8. I bought her albums to see what everyone was talking about. I am amazed at how talented she was, wow. She's the new Janis Joplin. Someone who was exceedingly talented, yet lost it all because of drugs! Janis only recorded 3 studio albums, with a 4th posthumous album. They're already talking about releasing the album she was working on, posthumously. People definitely loved her, even if she didn't love herself. It's just such a waste of a life. I was kind of surprised, because I thought (going by reports) that Amy had cleaned up. I guess you never really beat that lifestyle. RIP.
  9. Nah, their music isn't scary! LOL I am a big prog rock fan, and Porcupine Tree, along with Muse, Radiohead, and The Mars Volta, are the big acts in prog rock right now. Well, there is still Yes, but they're not as good as they used to be. Anyway, I pretty much worship the ground that Steven Wilson walks on. I consider him a hero of mine. I got into PT in 2002, my senior year of high school, and have followed them since then. I also really like Opeth, but not as much. Although I can see what's scary about that band (the vocals)...can't see what's scary about PT. They're kind of a moder
  10. I like the first outfit, but not so much the second.
  11. Sorry, but I have no clue what tv show this is.
  12. That is, if it's being made. But yes, it will be the last movie until she's finished with school.
  13. Any fans? I know it's a shot in the dark, but this band is really good, if you want to check them out. They're probably my favorite current rock band; I've seen them three times in the past five years, and each time has been great! Steven Wilson writes intelligent rock music that is exploratory and interesting.
  14. I agree with this. Harris was good at playing the drama aspects of the first two films, but he wouldn't have been good at doing the action bits. Gambon alone was one of the shining parts of the last three films. Maybe the last four films. He was really good in Order Of The Phoenix, too.
  15. Ah, so she isn't transferring schools? I wish she'd go to Cincinnati...although the chances of that happening are slim! She's not like Peter Frampton, who is our local British celebrity (love Frampton!)
  16. I hope that she didn't say this! I'm a big coffee fan...in fact, having a cup right now. But I understand some people don't like it. Coffee is actually good for you, so is tea, but not everyone can handle drinking it.
  17. I have to say that, a celebrity like Emma needs to be careful, because there are psychos out there. I can't remember what musician this was, but she just played for William and Kate. She was on the news, because two men were arrested outside her mansion, with butcher knives and an ax, duct tape, chloroform, and even a body bag in their car. She seemed pretty freaked. This is the kind of risk that celebrities have to put up with. I don't doubt that your "letter" will be combed over by authorities, before they're even passed on to a filtering agent, who "might" pass it on to Emma. Surely, th
  18. I have to say that Alan Rickman is Snape! I saw the films before reading the books, but I have to say that Snape portrayed in film is exactly as he is in the books. That's what makes Alan Rickman such a great actor. He became the character.
  19. I'm glad to hear that you're rational enough to realize that Emma doesn't come here. But yeah, I agree, she's gorgeous! Get in line, dude!
  20. I'm sure that curiosity has brought her to fan forums before. Maybe this one, maybe not, but I know that if I was a celebrity, I would be curious. No jokes about how curious I am, lol! But seriously, I think Emma would rather call up a friend, than a fan. Some celebrities enjoy private convos with fans, but Emma has never struck me as that kind of person. She seems to prefer her privacy over anything else.
  21. LOL I feel bad for the OP. This is where fantasy and reality don't meet! Plus, I think Emma has some say in whether or not she wants to date this dude.
  22. That's really great news! So, so far we have these movies to look forward to: 1. My Week With Marilyn 2. The Perks Of Being A Wallflower 3. Beauty And The Beast She hasn't really broken out of the teenage/kid movies yet, but hopefully she'll take on more adult roles soon! And this will have been 5 movies total that haven't been Harry Potter.
  23. This is nothing new, it happened last year. Sad, though. My favorite location of Borders is closing, or has already closed. There's another one near me, but not as near...so I'm kind of bummed that it ended up closing. The truth is that plenty of people read, but more are going to the library and less are buying books. This is because of the recession. It's not that fewer people are reading - my library is always jam packed - but it's that fewer people are buying books.
  24. Does anybody know if this will be voice only (cartoon/live animation), or actual acting? I don't think there's ever been a person and cartoon version (think Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), so if it was something like that, I'd actually be excited!
