awww! that's so nice of you I think I mean more of...lecturing teachers and doing workshops on how to be diverse and open to diversity and avoid stereotypes in school? I'm not sure. I did want to teach kindergarten and my degree will be k-2 but now I'm kinda :/ because it's the older kids you can really make a difference by talking to. So, I'm not sure.

as long as you're happy! my uncle wants me to work in business but I'm having none of that I want to teach and maybe do education reform or diversity counciling (I think I made that title up) or something like that

I love psych, and if I do say so myself I'm really good at seeing other people's perspectives and their possible motivations for things. I think I'd be good at psych but I love education more haha

as long as it makes you happy and you like it! too many people get jobs that they hate and there's no passion in it!

what do you do for work now?

honestly, I see that a lot in native speakers. Not all, of course, but I think it's a shame that first languages are lost. I hate it when people are like omg why are are hispanic people in a spanish class??? I just facepalm in my head and sometimes I tell them off *sigh*

well, I can't really speak for the current teaching market because I'm not doing any teaching *yet*, but from what I hear it's pretty dismal. Idk, everyone says ed. with spanish will make me "marketable" but I seriously hate that term. I mean, I'm not doing it so I can sell myself to the highest bidder and spanish is awesome, I wish I had more convo practice though.

I'm doing early childhood ed. and spanish, but all my classes this semester are pretty reading-intensive (like I actually do the reading...). Nah, I've just been trying to figure out all my classes for next semester, trying to graduate on time, and finish my spanish major because I can't do student teaching if that's not done *sigh*

yeah, it's a great place for opportunity. I have a friend who moved out there to do music but ended up in the makeup industry. she's on her way to becoming a top makeup artist. it's all about who you know
