    Biffy Clyro

Until this year I wasn't really into them but they are played quite a lot on the the radio station I listen to and I quite like what I have been hearing from them lately, so much so that I recently brought the album 'Only Revolutions'. A couple of the songs on there are not really what I go for but generally I think it's a great album. I really like 'Bubbles' and 'Many Of Horror'.
  2. We weren't unlucky, just rubbish... lol Thankfully Stoke performances like that are few and far between, although we have an extremely tough game this weekend away to Arsenal. More results today.... Bolton 2-1 Blackburn Wolves 1-0 Birmingham Tottenham 1-1 Chelsea I watched Bolton v Blackburn, it was a decent game but I think Blackburn were unlucky and Chelsea still can't win... they haven't won in the Premier League since 10th November!
  3. ^^ Thanks. More from Valencia, this time from L'Oceanografic, the biggest marine complex in Europe, this place was amazing, it was bigger than the zoo and a great day out which was capped off by a superb Dolphin show.
  4. Do any of you have Christmas decorations up yet? We put ours up today, it's a little early for us but I think my family wanted to make the most of me getting everything down before my op this week. Post your pictures here....
  5. I believe that it will be on either Tuesday 5th, Wednesday 6th or Thursday 7th July, but I wouldn't book your flights based on that because I could be wrong. It has been at the weekend before too but not since Goblet of Fire. We will hopefully know the date a few months in advance.
  6. Todays results.... Aston Villa 2 West Brom 1 Everton 0 Wigan 0 Fulham 0 Sunderland 0 Stoke 0 Blackpool 1 West Ham 1 Man City 3 Newcastle 3 Liverpool 1 Things are getting worse for Liverpool and the less said about Stoke's diabolical performance the better, it's the worst I have seen us play in over four years, Blackpool fully deserved the win.
  7. The Lion King is an absolute classic and is my all time favourite Disney movie. It is the first movie I can remember seeing as a kid at the cinema, I was 10 and probably went the cinema before that but it is the Lion King that really sticks in my mind. Brilliant sountrack too. I'd love to see the musical.
  8. While I have no interest in Miley Cyrus or her career I do realise that she is a huge star to which millions of children around the world look up to, including children in my family. Although she is 18 and what she is doing isn't illegal, I think that this behaviour is disgraceful. She is only a huge star today because of her success through Hannah Montana and because of that she needs to realise that she is looked upon as a role model and being a role model comes with responsibilities, especially with young children. She has clearly fallen in with the wrong crowd and unless she sorts hersel
  9. Last time I felt that the set up in Leicester Square could have been better and the stewards/security did absolutely nothing to stop people from pushing, that and the weather was probably the only downside to the day. I think I remember Jo saying when she had been previously the set up was better and it wasn't really a problem. We should all try and stick together at the front, but it would be best to work things out on the day when we have seen how it's going to be set up. I'll be down in London for 2 or 3 days so if some us want to meet up the day before like last time, we could have a loo
  10. I used to pronounce Stupefy as 'stoop-fy' instead of 'stoo-pa-fi'. Apart from that I don't really think I have had a problem with pronunciations.
  11. You should... you actually don't see a proper ending in Life on Mars, you need to watch Ashes to Ashes too to see how it all ends, there is a great twist. If you liked the American version you should check it out, the British version came first
  12. I always used to sleep on my side but since I have had my hernia I go to sleep on my back and usually wake up on my back too... I'm not really a great sleeper though, on work nights I often only get five hours or less sleep.
  13. This is great.... I don't know if it happens at many schools but the thought of my old teachers having chair races down the corridors is just too hilarious!
  14. I try to respect other people's beliefs but I think that this is just downright stupid. I actually think that Harry Potter would help young children to understand the difference between good and evil and to me Harry Potter and his friends show a lot of traits that Christians should be proud of like friendship, love & loyalty. I remember about five years or so ago the Pope coming out and critisisng HP saying something about it 'corrupting young Christians' and then Amazon came out and said that it has recieved orders of the Half-Blood Prince from many countries.... including The Vatican!
  15. I sent it to the Leavesden address last time too, it's a gorgeous photograph though so I am thinking of writing again. This is from Emma's website... For fan mail or requests for signed photographs of Emma: Emma Watson PO Box 68162 London N1P 2AL or email us at fans@emmawatson.com
  16. Sometimes goal celebrations can be just as entertaining as the goals themselves.... I love these by Icelandic club FC Stjarnan... there are loads on YouTube... they must practice them more than the football! The Human Toilet... Reeling In The Fish.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBMudyXPGJQ
  17. We need to build more lampposts! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1-wGhazCAE This was in the news yesterday, I thought it was hilarious!
  18. Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen
  19. Emma looks fantastic in that picture, I am really looking forward to seeing her in this role.
  20. I like Top Gear but I have only really started watching it over the past couple of years, although I have probably seen a lot of the older episodes on Dave. You are right when you say that anyone can enjoy it because I am not really into cars at all which is why I never watched it before, I never thought a show about cars would interest me, but Top Gear is different. I like the format and the banter between the three presenters is great.
  21. I'm just getting ready to go out for a few pre Christmas drinks with a few of the lads from work, should be a good night out.
  22. ^^^ That's absolutely brilliant... I have just seen this goal by Matthew Burrows of Glentoran in Northern Ireland, which shows that moments of brilliance can happen even in the lower standard leagues... This has been nominated for FIFA's goal of the year.
  23. Why did I not see this thread before now? I love this.... One of my favourite scenes from Blackadder Goes Forth...
