KS987
I read about this on snitchseeker's twitter a while ago. Again, like the UK premiere I am surprised that this isn't being talked about that much here. I hope we hear more about it soon. Emma also said she was willing to work with others if they were willing to get involved in fair trade as well.
Arie
WOW! That is a huge deal!!! I love Alberta Ferretti... I am excited to see where this goes...
start.a.revolution
I'm so excited! Really interested to see what sort of things have been/will be designed. I love the idea of fair trade clothing, but the cost of living on a tiny island where everything has to be shipped to you = huge cost added to everything. Its so lovely Emma is doing something like this!

KS987
Emma has updated her official site about her new line. It's going to be released in the spring: http://www.emmawatson.com/en/Latest/Projects/Emma-collaborates-with-Alberta-Ferretti/
Kim.
I am not familiar with the designer Alberta Ferretti, but this is great that Emma had the opportunity to work on a fair trade organic line with another designer. Loved what she did for People Tree.Again, another accomplishment for her. I read about this on Facebook this morning (although I heard the news last month) and right under her post? A post from a friend of mine appeared on the news feed, stating that he had achieved a high score in Snake (a game). I was like, "Way to go!"Had quite a laugh. It's nice to know that some of my friends spend their free time trying to beat out and achieve high scores in games (not that there's anything wrong with that). I just found it funny to see the two posts next to each other. Lol.
Jade
This was in Vogue. I can't wait to see what is produced!
lavieenrose
I absolutely love everything Emma helped design for People Tree so I cannot wait to see what she and Alberta Ferretti design together! Spring why do you suddenly seem too far away?!
shiningmoment
It's not far away LOL. Emma said in an interview that this line will be issued just after the Christmas.
Neve
I remember the days where Emma started wearing designer clothes... I think it was between PoA and GoF. Back then, she was all about Alberta Ferretti (BAFTA, GoF press conference, GOF NY premiere). It's nice to know that she's going back to her haute couture roots More seriously, I'm really looking forward to this line. I just don't know whether it's supposed to be affordable to the masses... Carlyn
I love Alberta Ferreti clothes and I am interested in seeing what Emma comes up with. I hope she makes a lot of dresses as I think Alberta Ferreti dresses are so pretty.
Lindalumos
I hope they make it affordable for broke ass students like me can't wait for the new line!

ckravitz
She added, “I will put it out there that I will work for anyone for free if they are prepared to make their clothing fair trade organic.†Is it just me, or is Emma the only person who would do this for free? KS987
Is it just me, or is Emma the only person who would do this for free? I would imagine there are other people who would be willing to do it for free as well. I think that if you are going to aid in causes such as this, you SHOULD do it for free unless it is your actual job and the only way you make income, which obviously you need to be paid in order to keep the organization afloat. Emma already makes money from movies and could easily pursue any career she wanted and be successful and is aware of this. She gets involved with fair trade because she is passionate about it and wants to help the working and living conditions of the workers and their families.

I didn't even think of "passion" being a reason.
