I guess there's a few people here who write? I think there was some at the other.
Anywhow, what do you write? Fantasy? Romance? Reality?

I write a lot anyhow. I want to be a writer. I finished one book about 2 years ago, but nobody wanted to publish it. Now I write at another book though. I mostly write fantasy. Often about girls and I try to put in some myths and bigger stories in it.
I have tried to write books set in the real world but I just can't. My fantasy disappears when I can't put in something supernatural in it ;)
And after reading Hush hush and Twilight I wanted to write that stupid romance stuff. It was not so funny though, so I quit.

So does anyone else write?

Yep I write, whenever I have time in between studying. I like to write fantasy and childrens stories. There's lot of stuff I start all the time so I've only finished a handful of them. Most of it is just hanging. One day....

I used to write a lot in the past. Over the years I have grew out of it and become more fonder to reading. I have had a couple of fictions in the past. Only got around to finishing 4 out of 9 I have started. I have many idea's but change my mind in posting them as people might steal ideas.

I have got around to writing a book. It is fantasy and about a boy. It is based on haunting dreams I have. I haven't edited it since last year. I am planning to do it when I finish college. But, I don't want to try and get it published until I am much... much older.

I'm to young to get it out in the world now. I'm 17... nearly 18. I want to finish my bakery course and have a stable job. And a family though, i'm half way there with that. I want my life to be on the go before.

When I was in 6th grade I wrote 2 books (90 pages and 120 pages in 18pt font). When I look back on them now I always laugh, they were horrible! I tried making a sequel to the 90 page one, but it didn't really work out. I also tried making 3 other ideas turn into books, but I never got past the first 10-20 pages.

In 8th grade I began writing short stories. Just as a side note, two influences were Edgar Allen Poe and O. Henry. I only made two, and the second one was never finished

Now, I'm writing a screenplay. I have two more ideas in mind for the big screen as well. So, I guess that will be my form of literature for awhile.

[color="#800080"][font="garamond"]Working on a series of Short Stories. My writing is so messy I refuse to write anything out until I get my laptop back full time. But I still have a journal I'm jotting ideas and character profiles down in. My Dad is a screenwriter and writes novellas, so I have a lot of good guidance.

I started writing poems full in misery and pessimism haha when i was really young. Then i wrote two fantasy stories inspired by the lord of the rings mostly. I like writing fantasy novels because i want to get as far away from reality as i can. And it helps me so much. When i finish uni and find some free time, i'll have to re-write them in the computer because they're all handwritten. Edited by something better

I used to write short stories all the time when I was younger, but I got out of the habit. I've written a few fanfictions since, but it's difficult finding time atm. I've had a plot for a novel in my head for about a year and a half, it's just finding the time to work it through properly and start writing.

Yes, you really need to update your fanfic!

I have quite a few ideas, 6 actually, that have lots of potential. Being stressed about work, I don't know how
I'll start any of them, but I have to, the ideas seem amazing and something that people will love reading.
Wrote a short story a long time ago, 6-7 years, and i still love it, might take it and give it a facelift.

You need to set aside time, no matter how stressful the day is. 30 minutes is usually good enough, but even if you are writing for 10 minutes on those really tough days, it's better than nothing. It may not be the greatest work ever, in fact first drafts are probably going to suck, that's true of 99% of writers. At least your ideas are down and you have something to work with. You need to get those ideas down first.

And I've written countless poems as many know. I also write short stories, soon a play, more poetry, and hopefully a novel later on in life.

I've written an epic fuckton of poetry. Strangely, I hate writing poetry even though I seem to have a knack for it. Mostly I just write snarky book reviews these days, although I've been cranking out some short stories (mostly horror and bizarro). Although I love writing fiction, the process of doing so is... excruciating for me.
