  1. 3. Kim I'm too lazy to copy and paste from my phone. I love this idea. Might need the forum, it could come in handy
  2. hmmmmm!!! Come to think of it, I tend to do nearly everything from scratch. I also will take three recipes: one unhealthy, classic; one healthy, paired down; and one flavorful and improvise in order to make a healthy original. I also improvise with whatever it is I have in my house. So, I can do quite a few things really well. Here are some things I've made recently, from scratch: - Home-made, infused olive oil. Usually with fresh garlic and an herb that compliments my main meal. - Garlic crostini: a healthy "garlic bread", no cheese needed. - Coffee: trust me, it's an art. - White bean,
  3. ^ this. lol. And, I'm feeling pretty motivated today. I hope it translates into something good.
  4. Fairly traded organic Divine chocolate (Strawberries and white chocolate), Equal Exchange (fair trade, organic) hot cocoa mix, And, a cross pendant made in the West Bank. My first cross, I think.
  5. Lying in bed under the covers. I'm FREEZING. My parent asked me if I'm sick. "Um, noo", it feels like the Arctic in my room .
  6. Man oh man, where's Jon been? I haven't seen a post from him lol. I hope I get this many wishes next month . I hope you had a wonderful day Jon, .
  7. happy birthday jonnn. Since we got tons of cake and cupcake and Italian started, I decided to make some hor d'eouvres. Dark chocolate hazelnut truffles. Because the fresh cheese and bacon is so expensive this year, I dressed the appetizer down with some Ritz crackers; I hope it's "ritzy" enough for you...maybe will bring back childhood memories, eh? Ps: don't let Jeremy steal them all; I know how much he loves his bacon. :| Aaand, some Coquito...a Puerto Rican drink. Don't ask what's in it, but the Forum youngin' peeps can't partake in that. I hope you have a decent birthday and
  8. Lying in bed and waiting for water to boil for tea and gonna watch some old season shows of "Law and Order: SVU" and do some reading!
  9. ¡feliz cumpleaños! May your birthday be happy.
  10. I'm glad you did well on your finals. --- Currently reading Faith Seeking Understanding by Daniel L. Migliore. He wrote this large text on Theology and it's introductory reading about Christian Faith and Doctrine. My class started this past evening and I've already gotten through the first chapter about purpose of Theology. Super interesting!

    Food Cravings.

....and pancakes. Though I favor pork roll over bacon. So bad for you I knowww. Been trying to eat less pork, but siiigh.
  12. No need to envy. I had two jobs so I had to get at least eight hours per night.
  13. No way lol. On the contrary, I go to bed around 10/11 now and wake up around 6:30-8. Idk why I am up. Just not tired.
  14. O_o -sneaks into kitchen- I honestly think I've had all the sleep I needed in four hours. Weird.
  15. Sure Jeremy. I'm talking about the thing you cook on a skillet with oil or margarine and is made up of flour, baking powder, sugar, etc. I'm reallly hungry lol.
  16. La la la la, lalalala. Woke up with the weirdest craving for pancakes. Must. Have. O_o
  17. I love that you started this thread! I've gotten more interested in learning about religions. Although I identify as being Christian, I do value some Buddhist values, which are somewhat similar to Christian values...just without all the religious figures. I believe there are a few Buddhists who frequent the Forum, so I can't wait to hear. Buddhism, to me, is really deep and philosophical and places an emphasis on the immaterial values of life. I personally feel that it examines the introspective thoughts and feelings in reference to the world. But ya know, I wouldn't truly know. lol. Ho
  18. That is such an old post lol, but I can't wait to attend a Bible study you lead. That would be epic! --- I am blessed that my life has turned out the way it has, and that I'm not dragging myself along anymore. I've been working to let go of my fears and anxieties about the future...which, btw, is just recent. But, I'm becoming more conscious of my purpose and what I'm called to do. I still don't have an answer yet and it's still fuzzy, but I feel like it'll become clear soon. And I am so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life. I'm also grateful that I've reached a place now where

    Mood

What on earth do you mean, English Tom? Lol. --- I'm feeling Loved.
  20. "Move" by MercyMe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZOOisccC9E I have suddenly got really into Christian Music (especially Christian Contemporary and Christian Rock [but not "hard" rock]). I think my love for this music grew out of joining a church choir. And, of course, Karen has linked me some good songs. And, then, I found this song on my Pandora App that I hadn't ever listened to before; and I love it. Catchy, fast, and just capitulating the emotion of just continuing no matter what comes in our paths. Love it!!! <3.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR

Ardi lol. Miss you dude, we need to talk sometime . --- Happy New Year peeps! I got invited to a party tonight, but I think I'm gonna stick the New Year out at home, just because I have tons of stuff to do for uni and my back hurts lol. But I hope everyone has a safe and happy night and much blessings to everyone for the New Year! God (or Universe) bless!! xoxo. <3.
  22. ^ been praying for your mom for a while. --- I feel like I'm in need of prayer tonight. I have a splitting headache from being upset. Although I knew it was going to end, I was hoping the job I favor the most and that makes me feel good about myself would keep me on as a permanent part-timer. I get paid more and work in a positive and motivated environment there. I also feel like I exist there. The seasonal position ends on the 31st. I'm hoping I can find a better job that would enable me to leave the second one I have, which pays me under $8 an hour. I really need a decent income to even cons
  23. I have so many own examples in my personal life where, in the past, I had turned away from God and "ran" and what I received in return was what I had already expected to happen. If I expected that a bad thing would happen, it would, simply because God gives to us whatever is on our minds (and whatever it is we may ask of Him). However, I was reading my Bible App on my phone on the bus yesterday. I, actually, just downloaded the Spanish Bible and the International Standard Version (common English)--both free. In the Book of Romans--what Karen quotes--the Apostle Paul writes a letter (or ep
  24. You have no clue how bad I want to finish this paper. 5 1/2 pages already, but the issue is so much more complex and in depth than I realized when I started. Ahhhh.
